Lovely! 💚 But can I just say, I'd love to see some thrift store makeovers instead of painting on new stuff. I like seeing old objects get a new life, it would be much cheaper and more sustainable! Win/win!

That scene shadowbox that not only lit up, but was also magnetic for ease of painting, AND it was on sale. Wonderful!! The only thing that would make it better is if it let light shine through from behind the windows too.

So I used to draw and paint all the time, for the past couple years with all that’s going on in the world I lost inspiration and motivation. Your recent videos (and old) videos have really inspired me, I went and bought some fresh acrylics and some smaller canvases and I’ve been painting like crazy… ♥️ they’re not perfect I’m just happy to be creative again. 😌

Hi Mira, I just wanted to thank you for your content, it brings me so much joy. It helps me realize that my art doesn’t have to be “perfect” and to really enjoy the process , rather than putting so much pressure on the final product. I love your art and keep up the amazing work😄

I think sometimes the nice thing about being a kid is we haven't got all the "rules" of art locked.into our minds. So we don't see a reason why the sky couldn't be say orange or whatever we want. Let's real creativity come out. Not that there isn't value in drawing things as they are either. I like the layered light box alot. I used to work at Michael's as my first job it was always hard not to spend my paycheck there lol. They always have neat holiday stuff. It was nice having so many videos this week. I've been depressed so it's nice to have something to look forward to. Thank you for all the work you put in to your videos.

Ahh, that’s such a good point about kids not having various art “rules” drilled into them yet. Such a great perspective. Thanks for sharing that! Also, Michael’s sounds like such a fun job!! If you have something rocking you can use a sock filled with rise or sand an rest teh peace on it. I like to engrave an I use a seat filled pillow (heat pad for the microwave) works fantastic. The thing about costumizing is 1. It is unic. I love reuse and upcycling. 2 you can do your style wether it is the way of drawing/painting or in your room design. Your outcome is great, I am now watsh part 2.

Could it be that you can paint on the other side of the wood with the houses and trees too? I am thinking that it is supposed to be variable, so you can paint one winter and e.g. one summer or autumn (/whatever) scene and turn each one around if you feel like it or seasons change. You could create even more scenes if you turn 1 or 2 around and leave the others (which probably only works when it’s snowing in any or none of the parts) I hope you may read this and try it out 💓

GIRL, Please please please STOP calling your stuff “crusty” or “nasty”! You’re a busy and super talented artist (and, hello a mother ❤️🤷🏻♀️👏🏻)I’m not a teensy bit as talented or busy as you are and my water cups look exactly like yours … and ALL artists!! So what!!! 😉
@HumdrumCurio2 жыл бұрын
You must be new here. Mira is not being judgmental about having crusty paint brushes. Perhaps the word nasty is harsh but she certainly hasn’t put any moral value into having dirty art materials. She has stated multiple times that not cleaning brushes can damage them in the long term and that her spray bottle doesn’t look pretty but that they work for her and she is a busy artist so those things won’t be changing any time soon.
@melindarivera65982 жыл бұрын
She is just being funny. Also, I think it is somewhat of a branding thing. Most people on KZbin have sayings, or things, they are known for, some come naturally, given by the viewers, others are created or started by the KZbinr, like this one, but it ends up being a branding thing for them. It's a good thing.

Ummmm, not new here at all Boulder. I get it. She’s being “funny” ha ha ha. I’m just commenting. Please don’t feel as if you need to school anybody. Love Miranda. Just snarkily (but lovingly) snipping at her as I would to my friends. … stop typing

I agree! Your palettes and brushes are like the cleanest I’ve ever seen an artist be 😂 psssh I wish my stuff was an clean. And your poor trusty spray bottle, I’m always like “where??” Now your water cup- that’s another story. I am so anal about having clean water and clean cup, I spend like half my time dumping and cleaning the water, but no no he has time for that and a messy work surface is a creative zone!

When I’m painting 3D objects and it won’t sit still I’ll use my kneaded eraser (or some other removable prop) to create a temporary cradle for it. You can put something between the object if you are worried about damaging it
