I loved this tour! I'm for sure going to try the stress relief patterns in my next sketch book. I'm a few pages away from the end of my first fully finished sketch book. I bought a cheap one to see if I could fill it and about 5 pages from the end I bought another one lol. So I went back and sketched a few things and now I'm almost done! I'm thinking for my third sketch book I want to focus on studying the art styles of some of my favorite artists (Munch, Van Gough, Monet, etc) and try to create pieces that reflect the study. I think you should name your sketch book Lucy! Also, after watching the first video you did on Prima Watercolors I asked for the classic set for my birthday and I have FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THEM! They are so amazing, and now I want them all! You're awesome Mira! Be Blessed!

I really like that watercolor landscape near the end; the one with the black bushes. I don't know what it is about it but it reminds me of the illustrations in some book I read at my grandma's house when I was a kid and it makes me happy.

I was actually watching this while coloring some picture I neglected. I just finished this sketchbook today drawing wise, but some just need a POP of color. I do a lot of different things, like from my own tarot designs, do simple landscapes, zentangles, just whatever inspires me that day.

i tend to use my "main" sketchbook as various degrees of stress relief as well! sometimes it's doodles or swatches, when i have more energy i like doing silly prompts and drawing round animals. birds are good but all round bois are good boys. the other way i use it is the regular way, to test out ideas i want to do on a larger scale. anything goes in the "main" sketchbook! the other sketchbooks i have are toned paper ones and one with smoother paper that i use markers in (not a fancy marker sketchbook, a rly cheap one that i dont mind ruining while i try to learn how to use markers). since i go to art school, i do more serious studies and challenging stuff at school, so my sketchbook is a very playful place now and it's a lovely little pocket friend to have.

I love how you have 1 palette that you love so much. I have a problem where I keep buying paints. I love all my palettes but since I have quite a few there is not one that I use all the time. I kinda feel like I need a special palette too, but I can't decide between all of them. It's almost like when you have 5 children and you have to pick a favourite. It's impossible!

I love so many of the ideas in here - the colour patterns and the “stress reliever” pages give me so many idea for when I need to do my own stress relieving art. im so hyper critical of myself so i can't draw a whole lot when I'm stressed, i always think its not good enough and i dont have the energy for constant erasing. So when I'm stressed, i copy architecture or planes or spaceships. I like the geometric lines and copying has anyways been really easy for me so i actually end up liking it

Thats how I am with my pallet. Ive had it for a bit over a year and only washed it twice. The only reason I washed it is because I had a specific piece I needed fresh bright colors for and couldn’t accidentally add a bit of color in that wasn’t supposed to be there 😂😂

I'm 4 pages shy of finishing my 24th sketchbook. It's named "I Love My Cat" b/c I picked up a sticker with that on it at ye 'ol Wally World in the pet section and stuck it on the front cover. Ironically, there are NO cat drawings in this one. Cats are my 'go-to' comfort zone subject matter. I tried some of your 9 ways to fill a sketchbook hacks when I was fighting the urge to draw some kitties in it so I could keep with the ironic themed content. If you're looking for a name for your sketchbook, maybe call it ''Zen" because you mentioned how this one was your private place to release stress? When I'm stressed and ''arting'', the more stressed I am, the more ''cute-sy'' and "happy" my art turns out. idk... that's just my 2 cents. I really like and appreciate your art. Way to go, Mira!

I love to work on watercolor or mixed media paper, but I have the same issue. The paper tends to be too "toothy" to sketch. I need heavy paper, but not quite as textured. What do you do with pieces you do outside your sketch book? I tend to sketch on different types or colors of paper and I've seen some people glue or tape those kinds if things to an empty page.... I'd like it to all be in one book, but that's not practical for me. I started doing more lines and patterns thanks to you!!

Discover With Dani try using card stock it is a bit expensive but it works well and for having all the pieces in the same book, you could get plastic sleeves and put them in a binder
