ALMOST MAINE "PROLOGUE EPILOGUE" Stratford Playhouse

Final installment - here is the Prologue and the Epilogue - the short vignettes that bookend the 8 scenes in John Cariani's romantic comedy "Almost, Maine" - as performed by Stratford High School's Stratford Playhouse in the spring of 2014 with Katie Legett as Ginette and Cameron Munoz as Pete.

This set isn't too bad. Reuse wood and doors from old sets, benches and trees are pretty common. It's the snow and the stairs that would get pricy every night. Very very nicely done though

Me too!! Honestly I think the biggest thing is just be UBER awkward. It helps if you find a trait on the actor playing Pete, that you think your character would love about him. Then when you're acting you can focus on that, it makes it seem more believable :) good luck!!!!

My school is doing this show, and I got cast as Ginette. For some reason I have a lot of trouble with the "oh" part after Pete says he loves 'me' too.

My school was gonna do this show but we probably won't be able to cause of safety. I'm so sad because it's such an adorable cozy show and that's all I want rn 😭 Plus I was gonna get to help design the props as well as act which would be super fun. These guys did a great job tho

Bill if I may ask, how were you able to post this without licensing issues? I have also shot my son's play but I am nervous about posting it.

Well, this was shot (and then posted) as a document/memento for the cast & crew, and sort of comes under the fair usage protocol I guess. There are lots of clips on the internet from this play from different schools, and as long as it's not being used to market anything or commercially promote anything, and since it's just a document of an amateur production, then the rights holders tend to let it slide.

@@THATBILLMOORE I contacted the origional producer of the play and he said as long as it's non-commercial, his guess was that it's just fine. So you're right.
