My brother is a police officer and is always reminding me to wear a helmet no matter what. He says he's seen enough accidents turn REALLY bad because people just don't wear a helmet. You just never know -- an example being that disturbed gentleman you encountered. Wear the helmet and always be aware of your surroundings!
