I really have found your videos enjoyable. I was born in the UP of Michigan in 76 moved to TX 79. Most my family lived up in the UP and my mom and dads best friend from the area owned Turpeinen Bros Inc Alston, MI. Every summer I would spend time going to the chipping operation and as a kid just loved watching the equipment working. This brings back lots of memories for me. Thanks for making the videos.

Besides not being able to understand you this was a good video. Lay that 'gravel' to the soft spot and if you don't like clay, just pass through here and don't even slow down in SC or Georgia! Prayers, BLESSINGS and Gomerish hugs!

Leaving the road surface 'open' after fresh dozer work will bite you sometimes, depending on what kind of moisture falls on it. Leaving it unsealed was always a "no-no" when we finished for the day/week. But you have equipment to assist getting out, awesome! ....13

@nathanwick25 Learning how to back a trailer with a live axle is on my to-do list.
Do you put the axles back down when you are driving on a straight road?

I wonder how those wood chips tasted! LOL! I was probably one of the only people that can understand what you’re saying over the chipper. I like it though because that’s one of the few times I’ve got to hear the old Morbark working from the outside.

Those chips were not good 😂

There was one time where I was going down a slide and there was a huge pile of wood chips down at the bottom, and that slide had a dip in it I was going super fast and nobody was down there to catch me. So I kept going after I hit the bottom and I crashed into a huge oak route, and I ate some chips in the process. Those didn’t taste too good either.

Muddy clay takes forever to dry about the time it starts to get good it starts to rain again. What did you guys do with the Kwhooper you were hauling logs with just wondering it's a good old rig. Keep up the great videos

It’s crazy the amount of axles that are on that trailer. I’m guessing the chips are extremely heavy and the weight laws you guys have you must have that many axles. Thanks for sharing
@firecaptaintom66705 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure Michigan's weight limits are pushing 200K!! WI is 96K I think with 6 axles.
@firecaptaintom66705 жыл бұрын
When spring frost laws are on limits go WAY down though.

If you want a truck that looks good, then get a KW or a Pete. If you want a workhorse then Freightliner.
