Handsome is mad because the dog got hos spot on the profile shot and I'd NEVER swap a dry for an oil clutch. The old D-6's will tighten up when they get hot. Grubbing is good for them. Prayers, BLESSINGS and Goomerish YOungun Hugs.

I know I am way late to the party here , But you could have a suction ( rubber ) line collapsing inside that does not show from the out side . I have had this happen to more than one pump in my days doing machine repair . A bore scope camera is a great tool too look in the lines for inspection. Best regards John

If you move the handle in a touch the adjuster nut will turn really easy

At like 8:28 it looks like the pump flywheel slows down for a second when it squeels. To me it's sounds like it's overloading the pump a blockage or something but I'm just guessing for fun

Well me too. There is a thing called open center hydraulic systems and another called closed center hydraulic system and I hear it's a bad thing to mix such parts with with other. So one might be able to change a closed center grapple turn valve into an open center one by moving a couple of plugs around in that particular body but beyond that I haven't got a clue. Wish I could be more help but I'm all in already. Does look to be stalling the pump to my eyes as well, can't be a good thing for the hoses to have that much pressure shock loaded onto them. According to one mechanic I watch doing the wrong thing with those two types of system will overheat the oil and ruin the pump in short order. Hello - morbark?
