arborist460 ) I definitely get what you’re saying. I too wear it out there for the world to see. It’s uncomfortable at times. I have been embarrassed over how emotional I have become at times. I’ve been especially moved by this experience. I for some reason have felt called to pray for Lacey on a much more consistent basis than in times past. Now my focus is on John and the family. I’ve never really considered myself to be a prayer warrior. Maybe God’s moving me in that direction. He gave me compassion, maybe I’m beginning to realize just why. Be Blessed.

He’s surrounded by a loving and GOD fearing family as well as a community that truly cares for he and Lacey’s children. Sure he’s got it tough, but he’s also in good hands. He said, “The kids are a big help” So they are drawing strength from one another. So yes, it’s sad, yet it’s beautiful at the same time. Thanks for being there for him. You’re a great man. Oh John, I am so sorry for you and your family. I didn't know Lacey had passed when I sent the email yesterday from the Georgia Prayer Warrior. I felt like we were close the last few days and I can say from first hand experience I know how you feel. I too lost my partner of 27 years to cancer in 1999. We appreciate the fact that Lacey enjoyed the comments, etc. that we sent her way. We all had become her family and her prayer warriors and the prayers won't end now. We will ask the Lord to keep you strong and continue to raise those beautiful children in her memory. If you need something we long distance family members can provide you'll just have to let us know. Also to Mike and Kim, I know it''s tough to have a child go before you do so I will pray for you too.

There are no words to describe how sorry I am for your loss. I was heartbroken when I heard of Lacey's passing. I went to church with Lacey from elementary school throughout high school. We lost touch afterward, but I know she touched the life of everyone she met. Even back then she was so sweet, kind, genuine, and always smiling. I pray the Lord will give you and your children comfort during this time of grief and pain.

Chipper, My heart grieves for you. This video touches me deeply because I lost my wife of 25 years in the similar manor. I know what you lived through first hand. The next weeks and months will be tough but hang in there. Time has a way of healing. The good Lord works in strange ways that we are unable to understand. Lacey will always be with you and will continue to guide you in your life's journey. Just keep rollin like you said. You will always have the great memories of your life together. Look at your kids. They are a blessing that she left for you.
