Honda builds are always awesome to me especially now in days with everyone wanting to build newer cars instead or rwd cars only,seems like a lot of people just forgot about hondas golden era cars that make great platforms for all kinds of racing,especially now with people making them awd and making huge amount of power

I don't think anyones forgotten, it's more that good ones have gotten hard to find. They've all been driven hard, modified and passed through too many hands. It sucks because I'd love to find a prelude or integral to use as a DD but they're all too beaten up.

Not even a Honda guy but this series makes my day. The Honda aftermarket is pretty broad. Selecting a shop and supplier can be a challenge. If I ever want a Honda, I think I know which supplier will be my go to.

Never had all the cool jdm engines that came in cars that they would in other countries. We got a wrx in 2002? And there was no evo or sti. Never had sr20s. Etc. J's racing exhaust sounds good on Honda's. So does the spoon exhaust. A honda should sound like a bike with the right exhaust. Than again the vtec sound you get, with a stock exhaust and a fatty intake, is just an amazing tone. These engines are amazing honestly.

Screw all the people telling you to go boost. They've obviously never riden in a properly built n/a Honda. My gsr e.g. hatch it SO much fucking fun. With the right tune,larger Injectors, some porting and exhaust set up it's PLENTY fast and it's so responsive. I LOVE it. When u was younger I always wanted a 240. But some things fell into my hands and I got my first b series hatch and I fell in love. There's just something about 90s Honda's that CAN'T be replicated by any other car.

Same here, grade 11, 2002, first time i ever heard the words "jdm b16a". Car was '91 integra. Went for a ride and i was hooked ever since. And this was when a full b16a swap with a cut harness was like 6000$ so for back then it was a pretty huge deal for a high schooler.

It's confusing that you're calling it a KA swap.. Makes me think of the ka24de in the 240. You do know it's a K20a right? Obviously.. Call it a K swap in my opinion, it's what everyone else calls it and will avoid confusion.. Also, you've never seen a K swap done to a Honda? There are literally thousands of them... So so many.

5k down the freeway for these motors is completely safe no worries at all. Maybe go through a bit of gas but the cooling system and engine can withstand high rpm all day especially with highway speed airflow
