The super Carlin Brothers make a sport out of inventing or presenting the most ridiculous fan theories possible and then put up pseudo-arguments for it that almost seem convincing - until you switch your brain back on an look for counter-evidence. The idea that Dumbledore ever progressed that far on the path of evil that he would commit wanton murder to create a Horcrux is obviously absurd. He couldn't possibly have used Ariana's death for it, since that would have required him planning for it and performing a ritual. You don't usually create Horcruxes accidently, Voldemort only did because he already had ripped his soul apart so many times. Plus Arianas death was an accident, not murder, so it wouldn't even have counted as the required act of darkest evil.

I agree, but the books say that the act of murder rips apart the soul and you can then force it into an object. Dumbldore would have believed that it was his fault that Ariana died and this would have split his soul. It's not the actually the murder that splits your soul but the fact that you went against the laws of nature. Albus would have believed that his ignorance had led to Ariana's death and he was young and foolish. He might have believed that if he separated part of his soul that he would no longer feel grief. Of course he was wrong. To fix it you must feel remores. Albus could have easily fixed it but I think that he would have felt like he deserved it. But hey, Dumbledore's dead so we will never know. Edit: before Dumbledore's funeral in a battle Dumbledore sends fawxs to swallow a killing curse. Of course he is reborn, but the curse could have easily killed Dumbledore's soul. If fawxs dies and is reborn, is fawxs still the same bird? It is possible that Dumbledore made him a horecrux and then fawxs burned himself into ashes. When he was reborn the soul might have died. That would mean that Dumbledore wouldn't have even had a chance to fix his soul.

I like the idea of hagrid's patronus being an acromantula aka aragog rather than fang and he should've cast it at the game of Hogwarts. Here's a theory. That the person who holds all three Deathly Hallows becomes death. Death from the story gave them the the brothers. It's reasonable to assume that the final brother inherited or otherwise acquired the stone and wand. Dumbledore if I'm not mistaken held all 3. And now Harry has all three.

I think The horcrux dying was intentional as far as the theory goes, so that the wasn't a possible Dumbledore Resurrection. As far as the natural life and death cycle of the phoenix I don't think that would qualify as it dying as it wasn't destroyed, not until Fawkes took the killing curse for Dumbledore

I can easily debunk the Horcrux theory. If Dumbledore made a Horcrux, it would have to be destroyed to kill him. Since the theory goes that Fawkes was his Horcrux, that would make Dumbledore immortal, since you cannot destroy a Phoenix, it keeps rising from its ashes when it dies. As you can see in the series, Dumbledore is not immortal, as Severus killed him. If he had a Horcrux, he would have survived. Some fans can be real idiots at times.

I guess because seing something through regular eyesight-correcting glasses is still directly looking at it in a straight line, while seeing the reflection in a puddle of water or a mirror is not. A classic analogue camera like the one Colin used also has two mirrors inside, so he wasn't looking directly through a lense at the basilisk.

Ok so in TOTAL RECALL what if the recall company is a recruitment center for the resistance? Regular customers provide funding but people who get the secret agent ego trip are turned into soldiers. The idea being the people who want to be secret agents are pre determined to be willing to fight for a cause, thus easier to brainwash. Just add some military training and you've got an instant recruit. The girl you pick is your handler once you get to Mars. I always felt mcgonagall and Voldemort had a teacher student relationship (lovers) she was a young teacher starting out and he was a mature teen and they connected when dumbeldore exposed him she didn’t want anything to do with Voldemort but fell pregnant and hid it from him and with the help of dumbeldore as her confident gave the child to her best friend who was a mogal she raised her child as her own and named her lilly case in point she never freaked out when she found out Lilly was enrolled at hogwarts. Mcgonagal coming to see baby Harry in the starting of philosophers stone and dumbeldore telling her not to but she says something like I would have come no matter what and finally her gifting Harry a nimbus 2000 and being aware of Harry’s antics but never letting on so in conclusion Harry was mcgonagal and Voldemort s grandchild.
