I love the Matrix theory first time I heard about it - Smith checks actually all the boxes, including that he can change the Matrix, something that Neo doesn't/can't. However, he needed Neo to become the unwitting One after Neo jumped into him. So, it needed a bit of NEO to get to the ONE. Indominous Rex has human DNA? Well, that would explain one thing in particular: that thing hunts for sports. It is actually said in the movie and it makes him so different from the others. Indominus likes to kill... An almost human trait, I guess?

Maybe the hint in JW is a bit superficial but it's still open for interpretation that Indominus goes beyond what we usually see in animals of his ilk and more in apes/monkeys and in a broader sense humans. And while gaming for humans is probably evolutionary speaking just the same thing cats do in staying "sharp", there is a certain difference between us and them the movie could allude to. Not everything in a dumb entertainment film has to be taken literally 😉

On Earth all land dwelling vertebrates (mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians) have 4 limbs (2 paired sets limbs) showing they evolved from a common ancestor. Even snakes had legs at one point and still do when they are embryos. However on Pandora all native fauna have 6 limbs EXCEPT the Na’vi who have 4. This has always really bugged me. The USB cable could be an adaptation gained after settling on Pandora.

Running water, like rivers and oceans, are often barriers to supernatural forces in mythology, so the fact that the water wasn't 'blessed' isn't a huge factor. Demons, mistaken for aliens by a faithless world, being defeated by running water would make a lot more sense. The movie still falls short because it doesn't give the aliens/demons a motivation.

8) My Matrix theory is that Agent Smith is modeled on the previous One, and that if there was a continuation of the series there would be an Agent Anderson. 1) In mythology, running water is often a barrier to supernatural forces - so an invasion from hell mistaken for an alien invasion because of a faithless world? I'm a fan of the Jurassic Park theory that claims that the dinosaurs weren't cloned from preserved DNA - it doesn't last that long. Instead, they were engineered to look like dinosaurs, and if they could fool the paleontologists, experts in their fields, then they could easily fool the general public. Also handily explains the more recent argument that they have no feathers - because at the time, we didn't think any did, so why would we engineer them to have some?

Fan theory on the movie Sucker Punch I first saw this movie based off the trailers. What I saw I enjoyed well enough, but it was not the Anime style movie that I was promised. I walked away from the theater underwhelmed, but I still bought the movie on DVD. It is a beautiful looking movie, but multiple viewings did not endure it more to me. In order to make the movie more, I created a theory that allowed for a deeper interest to me. My overall concept: Sweet Pea has schizophrenia, and most of what we see is her own delusion. First off, I am not an expert in the field of human psychology, so take my arm-chair use of the term loosely. I am saying Sweet Pea has created an illusion and cast of characters for her own personal delusion. I will not point to evidence, as I am sure this is not what the director was intending, so I go off what is presented, but seen in a different light. Taking this concept as fact, lets start from the beginning… Sweet Pea is taken away from her home because of her fictional sister, Rocket. Rocket: a means of departure. Sweet Pea is committed, from which she creates her reality of persecution. Sweet Pea creates the rest of her cast. Amber: an object once fluid that solidifies over time. Blondie: a generic filler… Like I said, we are doing a lot of stretching here. Blue Jones is probably the head of the facility, but Sweet Pea personifies him as her ultimate oppressor. She changes reality anytime she desires, playing out the fantasy of captivity to whatever suits her mood. In Sweet Pea’s theory session, she is led into the creation of an innocent creature in the form of Baby Doll. You see it in the movie how Sweet Pea rejects the back story being given to this creation. Sweet Pea is the lead character of this stage production at Baby Doll’s introduction. Without a definitive story, Baby Doll becomes part of her general cast. The goal of the creation of Baby Doll was to help Sweet Pea break free, and that is what she does. Baby Doll is Sweet Pea’s white knight. She is the warrior needed to set her free. Each thing stolen in Sweet Pea’s fantasies is a means to break free from the prison of her own mind, as each fantasy represents how she sees herself. The map is to reveal her path in regaining her life, guarded by the animated dead. As sees herself as dead to the world, yet still living in a minuscule way. The fire is to illuminate the truth of her situation, and is guarded by monsters. She sees herself as deformed and corrupt for not being like others. The knife is a means to cut away the illusions she had created, and is guarded by legion: the many as one. Deep down, Sweet Pea sees herself in all the characters around her. Accepting the knife, the first to go was the first created, her most precious Rocket. At this point, Sweet Pea’s worlds begins to unravel. For the first time in a long time, Sweet Pea is scared. Her illusions try to now protect her. Her oppressor in the form of Blue cuts down her other supporting cast, breaking her spirit in an attempt to get Sweet Pea to retreat again from reality into the safety of illusions. Baby Doll is spared a similar fate because Baby Doll is not Sweet Pea’s creation. Baby Doll is forced upon Sweet Pea, and thus has greater outside importance. Baby Doll is prepared to be sent off to complete her story, but Sweet Pea’s desire for freedom spurs on her liberation. The key, obtained without the glorification of a fantasy, is to help her break free of her own mental prison, guarded by an authority, a power to whom she has submitted. Sweet Pea has seen herself for the longest time as both captive and guard. The final item to obtain was the discovery of the need to sacrifice of Baby Doll, guarded by her own love. She has seen herself as one who can love and who must be loved. By sacrificing Baby Doll, the last of her prison of illusion, Sweet Pea gains the confidence of looking outward, into the uncertainties of reality, for what she needs. In her actual reality, being schizophrenic for such a long time, a return to her full cognitive abilities might have made it easy to her to escape her actual commitment. The final scene in the movie is the only true event in the movie. She is trying to go home. By my logic, you can take the ending as you want. Either the bus driver, possibly met earlier, had come to represent a helpful side character in her illusion, and seeing him again was a coincidence, or the actual bus driver was morphed into one of her side characters, telling her that schizophrenia is not some dream you just wake up from, and that she will be continuously battling her illusion for the rest of her life. This is just my own idea. It is most likely not true, but it makes the movie, at least to me, more interesting.

My theory is that the Indominous Rex is nowhere near as smart as everyone treats it as, as everything it does can be explained as regular animal behavior that is only as successful as it is because the humans were all grossly incompetent. Like, the claw marks near the top of the wall were from a previous escape attempt rather than a lure, and it went into stealth mode (which it might not even funny understand that it has, considering that it has never encountered another non-baby member of its species before) because it didn't like its captors, and is escape only succeeded because said captors were too dumb to check the cameras and tracking implant before going in effectively unarmed and opening the only door that was big enough to allow it to pass through. It ripped out the implant later on because it became uncomfortable when it was activated (maybe it got too warm, or messed with some some of its non-human senses, or something like that). And so on, and so forth.

I'm split on the Navi. First, all animals on the planet seem to have 6 limbs.... except the Navi. NEO IS the ONE but! when he enters in Agent smith and makes him explode at the last of the 1st movie part of what was HIM. the one, becomes Agent smith, so know there was two "the ONES" or "the one" in two separate entities, one a copy of shadow of the former, this is why Smith had powers over the matrix similar to NEO, and they both need to collide so that essence the soul of Neo returned to him.

The Na'vi/Avatar theory is actually good! Descended from ancient aliens who were unsuited for Pandora but had very high BioTech.. they engineered the Na'vi, including their tree-interface (they maybe made the tree too) in order to experience/live their lives on Pandora - effectively, ALL as "Avatars" initially, giving the title new meaning.. Na'vi being sexually viable, as well as having a design a Mind can be downloaded into, they had kids who had their own, natural, minds... generations later, their origins were forgotten, maybe the remaining actual aliens moved on. Explains how dude's Mind could be downloaded into one, and how they had such coordinated control over the wildlife.
