I found Bishop tonight because of her performance (supporting Abi Carter, the eventual winner) on the final of American Idol. Her performance of Triumph was shortened, but when she entered the chorus and lowered her voice, I was converted for life. (If you have not yet seen that performance, I recommend seeking it out -- the energy is incredible.) That was followed by River, also outstanding. Usually musical artist's TV performances are a disappointment for me, but Bishop "triumphed" climbing the mountain and kept on going up. I would love to see her in live show.
