@@danlorett2184 the counters don't matter, if you lose due to life loss of a ring your deck is bad or you misplayed. I have a deck on arena that literally has a copy loop for the ring in it and it's an autowin because I have protection from everything every turn. The card draw engine is also insane, if you have 5 counters you're drawing 5 cards combo that with march of the ents and you just win the game. You can literally just run artifact sac outlets to get rid of the ring if it becomes more of a burden than you want. Most of those sac outlets are draw 2 cards or kill effects as well, or you could do what I do and just bounce it back to your hand once it has to many counters on it and gain protection again. 90% of decks don't have an answer to bounce ring, play ring, pass.

My only deck I play that has a combo like this is my Barrowin of Clan Undurr deck that has Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, and my friend runs Maha and Toxic Delige in their Tinybones, Trinket Thief deck; when I play my Barrowin deck and he plays Toxic Deluge after getting Maha out, I try to target Maha with Murder, Path to Exile, or Swords to Plowshares if I have cards that I'm willing to discard

I mean, classic tron decks have always had a bad match-up vs aggro decks. Trying to go over-top of midrange decks tends to make it so aggro decks get too much pressure on you before you can stabilize. Game 1 anyway
