The Haunted Mansion originates as (my favorite) a Disneyland ride! I highly recommend you watch videos of it! There's also a Haunted Mansion children's book that features all the cartoon art you see in stores.

We just went to one in Elyria that took over an abandoned Best Buy where a mall shut down. Since it was so new, they didn't have a whole lotta animatronics out but they seem to be picking larger locations.
