Glad it helped, I’m actually using the BM-800 XLR Microphone however it isn’t the best just a cheap start up microphone from amazon “search BM-800” but it really depends on what you want to use it for? For what I’m using it for I would have been better off with a usb mic but if you want a more serious mic that uses Phantom power then go xlr

Hey, good question. This process would not replace the password, it would remove the file where the password is being saved locally and would expect you to input the same password again when logging back into Outlook. If you know the password and have it written down somewhere, great, if not then you will need to note the password down before going through this process.

Hey, it should follow the same process. You will just have to be mindful of any additional server side protections such as 2FA. Outlook is just stores the credentials on the local machine for connecting to the service, any issues with this pop up will most likely be server config related if this method does not work.

Very useful guide, but my prob does not appear to be with initial (when opening Outlook) password but when open it's still presenting the wretched password window, sometimes every few seconds, even when the Outlook window is reporting that it is connected with the server. If I ignore the popup, it will then detach from the server and need my password to get back in. Really annoying.

why do so many videos show gmail ? how do you fix the pop up on an imap account onto a hosted email account other than gmail , yahoo etc - clearing the credentials doesnt work - thanks in advance

@stu TV I was showing GMAIL in the video example as I cannot show my corporate email account in the public space. For IMAP there can be many factors causing the issue, if you can removed all the credentials and reloaded them as shown in this video example then you could have IMAP disabled on the hosted service, it could just need enabling to resolve the issue. Or if 2 factor verification is switched on it can cause IMAP to fail in Outlook. You could also try the below in Outlook itself: 1. Start Outlook and go to File. 2. Choose Account settings in the Account settings section. 3. Select your exchange account. 4. Click the Change button and go to More settings. 5. Select the Security tab. 6. Under the user identification, make sure the Always prompt for logon credentials option is not selected. 7. Click OK and restart Outlook. If this doesn't work then you could try: 1. Exit Outlook. 2. Click Start and go to Control Panel. 3. Navigate to Credential Manager and locate the set of credentials that has Outlook in the name. 4. Click the name to expand the set of credentials, and then click Remove from Vault. Note: Repeat step no. 4 for any additional sets of credentials that have the word Outlook in the name.
