About The Game: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (known as Sly Raccoon in Europe and Australia) is a platform stealth video game created by Sucker Punch Productions that was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2002. The game was followed by three sequels, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. On November 9, 2010, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, as well as its first two sequels, were released together as The Sly Collection, a remastered port of all three games on a single Blu-ray disc as a Classics HD title for the PlayStation 3.

You know, I've never clicked the 'The Completionist' episodes because I've always thought it's just a video about you, 100%-ing a game, which is something that I personally less connect with. But I happened to click this one (as I'm a big Sly fan) and was surprised and delighted to see it's a 20-30 min video with your own opinion and review of the game mixed with some pleasant, not overdone humor. Exactly my cup of tea for KZbin gaming videos. What I'm basically saying is that maybe it's better to think of a better way to communicate what these videos are actually about. Noriaki Kakyoin the only way to beat that fight properly on the remastered version is to mute the TV. And even then it’s an unreasonable length for a QTE where you have maybe one or 2 hit lives.

I have to say 3 is the best. I have played through 3 like twice and I don't think I ever beat 2. The gameplay was too repetitive. There were too many missions that felt the same and the dialogue didn't feel quite up to par. The dialogue was best in 3 I felt and the gameplay was a lot more varied.

Man, seeing this video really brought back some memories. This was one of the games that I grew up on, and I have many fond memories of it. It was probably the first game that I managed to complete, and looking back on it, it was worth the hours of time I've put into it, playing through many times. I'm glad to see that you enjoyed it as much as I did, Jirard. As for a series that I just now got into after holding off on for a while, that would be Phantasy Star. I've heard great things about it, and I got one of the games about a year ago and absolutely loved it. Only now, however, am I really digging into the series, and I seriously regret not playing them earlier.

Sly Cooper is one of my favorite franchises right up there with Ratchet & Clank. One of my favorite things about the series, aside from the story, is Peter McConnell's composing. It really makes me feel like a master thief sneaking around and thieving like a badass with those added musical cues. McConnell's Paris Rooftops is the most iconic track in my opinion and the music, along with the story, just gets better in the sequels.

+Darkrai110 At times it can be entertaining. but when the game is filled with hand-holding help prompts spammed throughout the whole game reminding you how to do things you were taught how to do since the TUTORIAL level (which you CAN'T turn off btw), clunky controls (i.e characters' combat animations are extremely rigid and un-fluid, and piss poor jumping mechanics-- just to name a few), repetitive boss battle structure, nonsensical plot twist with a certain character, and *SPOILERS* The final boss being a lazy and super repetitive quick-time-event-fest--- I just can't help but feel that Sly 4 is the worst game of the series.

This was one of my favorite games as a kid, so much so that even though the only one of the original trilogy that I didn't play was Sly 3 I bought the whole re-release collection and completed all three games because they were that much fun. This game is the most nostalgic for me. One of the fondest memories was of me playing this game at age 5. I honestly never even got to the Muggshot boss until I plcked up the game again for another nostalgia run, and even still I've yet to 100% it. But, let's be honest, Sly 3 was the best.

Oh man....this video was such a nostalgia trip for me. Sly cooper was like my childhood hero aside from spider-man and my god i loved it so much. So many times did I replay bits of this game just to enjoy it again. Now I never fully completed it cause i was super young and just played it cause i liked it and admittedly sort of left sly 1 away in favor of 2 and 3, but still it was such a joy and i will never foget this game or jak and daxter for being my childhood memories
