@thatpickleballguy6 ай бұрын
Here’s the paddle I use. It’s the “power air” www.selkirk.com/products/vanguard-air-s2?variant=40179483344998 Note, I specifically use the “prestige color.” I haven’t run a test on this, but I think it has a little more spin than the other power airs. :) If you’re looking for a less expensive option, I’d go with this one - www.selkirk.com/products/slk-halo?variant=39964829188198 And, I prefer the “power” version. It still has very good touch, in my opinion, but has a little extra pop :) If you go with either of these use my code, “ADV-thatpickleballguy” and you’ll get a digital gift card toward a future purchase.

Because I'm an unabashed Geek, let me point out a very minor error. Your drawing is wrong (at 1:05) if you are saying a2 + b2= c2. You need to switch b and c in your drawing to make it correct. However, that drawing only pans for half a second, and your demonstration on the courts is 100% correct. So only Geeks like me would notice. LOL! I love your videos, and thanks!

Also, his partner is a very aggressive dinker. What should this right side player do in terms of dink exchange?

I disagree with the logic of #1. Your plan of taking the LONGER DISTANCE crosscourt SHOT is flawed. Your goal should rarely (if ever) be to give your opponent MORE TIME to gather themselves and plan for their return … and unfortunately that’s what your cross-court shot accomplishes… It gives my opponent more time to gather themselves and respond. Bad plan! The best you can make out of a cross court shot in that instance would be to try to split your opponents… But even that is a longer shot than going directly at your opponent.
