Quickest Evos in the World! - 1400HP Evo 8 and Evo X Record

On this episode we met up with Myles and Lucas from English Racing, during Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals many records were broken. English Racing put on one of the best performances of the weekend taking home the EVO X and Evo 8 1/4 world records. They also set the horsepower record for any 4G63 powered Evo 8/9 making an insane 1405awhp! Congrats to everyone involved!

i throw a garbage bag over my air filer and rubber band it down, then i drill about 200 1/8th size holes all along the intake pipe. those holes act like the intake and they also sound like 500 dog whistles going off at one time. thats my secret to running high 18's in the quarter mile. i have a pretty sick built tbh, not many people can run an 18 second quarter mile with my car.

How much power can an Evo X MR hold? I sold my 2008 5 years ago. I noticed the used ones are at a really good price. Might get back into the Evo game again. AMS made an awesome Evo X, but it was a GSR. I think it was 900 whp.

In my honest opinion, an EVO is a Rally car with handling as key so giving it too much boost to increase HP out of those 4 cylinders is not appropriate but this car is only left as a shell and is clearly a track car.
