I absolutely love this series, there's so much helpful info in them! its so nice that you break every detail down and explain why you do what you did when creating a character from scratch. I want to get into online battling and this is the best place to learn: what mons, teams, and strats are meta how to build a team from scratch or make your team more synergistic and most impotently, how to EV train each mon to fit a certain roll and how to get the most value out of your stats. i use to be almost exclusively a 252 252 4 kinda guy but now im putting a lot more effort into making my teams to do what i want but better.

Hey dude thanks for fixing up my team! I really like the changes and appreciate you explaining why you made them. I’m def gonna make these adjustments in game and take another swing with this new and improved team. For context , I had solar beam on bolt as additional tech for ground types. My steel Tera koraidon was more of a defensive play ( flying and psychic in addition to fairy) while having the tech for opposing fairy types in the rain. However, I do think having that more aggressive fire Tera on him makes more sense given how koraidon needs to be played. And yes those burnz make me cry every time lol. And I’m very happy you liked umbreon cuz he was def my “6th man of the year” in the first reg g. Really really found value in you doing this for me, thanks again!!

I only got into vgc last format since I understood and could easily get most of the pokemon I wanted. I was super nervous about this upcoming format because introducing all of the legendaries and restricted mons felt a bit overwhelming, but this video definitely helped me to feel a bit more confident and comfortable with the format, I’d love more videos just like this

Really enjoy this video! I'm still learning so some of the things that were assumed to already be known were a little lost on me but nothing a quick lookup on my end can't fix. I don't really plan on building a team for myself quite yet but understanding how teambuilding works feels like it will really help in battling, even if I'm using someone else's team.

One thing I would like to see is maybe linking up with other popular poketubers and getting some matches in. I love seeing poketubers battle it out, especially with themed battles. Otherwise I absolutely enjoy watching these videos. They inspired me to create my own channel and try being a poketuber as well

These are great I started competitively during reg H which I could easily use multiple modes and no one Pokemon was forced to be brought so I needed the help for reg G where your restricted is a must

I really enjoy these types of videos. I love how much detail you give and how you explain your thoughts. My one suggestion is to remove a lot of the clutter from your screen. When you are showing matchups in showdown I don’t need to see “twitch chat”, or a bunch of ads for your discord and subscribing, or even showdown chat. All I need to see is the pokemon fighting, the moves you are selecting, and your face. Everything else is just a lot of visual noise. Keep up the good work though! I’ll definitely be watching more.

I wanted to add an interesting detail. scovillain is a decent sun support with clear amulet koraidon due to spicy extract giving them the 2+ attack but not the -2 defense

As someone new to VGC I find some specific EV spreads really hard to conceptualise, it would be really helpful if when recommending specific spreads you talked about the most relevant calcs that helped mold the values. Really enjoyed the video.

I love these videos alot. Ive never been good at math so having this stuff broken down for me is really helpful. I dont plan on doing regionals or worlds or anything but I like to make it to master ball in ranked each season. I dont alwaysm but ultra ball is nice too haha. also wait is reg G coming back?

XD I would love to use Miraidon,Kyogre, Dialga or Calyrex Shadow in a team. :) I have made a random team with Calyrex Shadow & did manage to win some battles after another, but I noticed I do tend to use the same 3 Pokémon with the 4th depending on my match up. Is it over for my boy Groudon? :( My favorite box leg. I was thinking of cooking up a team with Groudon/Heatran/Raging Bolt/Walking Wake/Lilligant as my core. Last spot TBD (maybe taunt incin for some damage/trick room control. Starting to feel like Koraidon is just straight up better even with a triple fairy weakness. idk haha I wish Precipice Blades was 95% accuracy

I think your formatting would benefit from a more condensed beginning, instead of going and explaining the Pokémon, their spreads, moves, etc. right at the start, do like a “this is the team we’re fixing today. It’s a koraidon team with partners etc, etc, and etc. I already see some things we will want to change, but let’s get into some games!” That way you pull the audience in from the start with the promise of things to come and you can get into the exciting parts to watch faster. That way too when there’s solar beam on the raging bolt you can be like “this move is crazy, but it’s not doing us a lot of good in this game.” You do a good amount of commentary during the game and a fair bit of it is redundant to what you’ve already said in the intro, I don’t think it would do you a disservice to bring the things you would say there to while you’re playing. It would also provide context to the things you’re suggesting need fixing or think won’t work well in battle instead of them being theoretical ideas the viewer has to wait to see possibly payoff. Obviously take everything with a grain of salt, I’m just a random person on the internet who doesn’t make video content, but it’s just what I think as someone who is currently 40 minutes into your video. Keep up the good content!
