Glad you made the trip. I've watched a couple of your podcasts. I am now a subscriber. Thanks for making the trip. Okies are great people. Look up Oklahoma Standard and you see how we come together to help everyone out. It's a new era. Make no mistake, we are coming for the championships. It might not be this year, but we're pretty close. If we can establish our offense with a new O-Line and a new QB, the SEC better look out. We're happy you could make it and we look forward to the new travel plans. We have no disrespect for anyone (except Texas,) but that's really only on game days, uh-um--ok that's a lie. We can't stand Texas, not the state the university. We respect the conference, but I think some of these SEC fans don't really understand that winning Big 12 Championships wasn't a cake walk. You got to remember we had Mizzou and A&M in our conference. We had Nebraska too. I think most moved to get away and see if they could compete in other conferences. If your overconfident, just know that's where we want you to be. Less than 8 weeks until the season begins. Good luck to all SEC teams. If we can't make it, then I can honestly say I'd be pulling for the Vols. I still love Heupel and what he did. So do a lot of Sooner fans.

If you’re visiting Norman again. There’s many place to go. For Campus Corner, O’Connels, Louie’s, Hideaway, The Mont and The Library are all fan favorites. Elsewhere in Norman if you’re staying a day before or after the game you can look at the Sam Noble natural history museum, Riverwind Casino, and Hollywood Corners (live music bar Toby Kieth bought and renovated before he passed).

Great show! Don’t look past these stats as OU has the second most national championships in the country outside of Yale and Princeton just right behind Alabama that has 18 or 13 unanimous. Oklahoma has seven recognized Associated Press championships. OU has 15 titles that are recognized by the NCAA: Those wins came in 2000, 1986, 1985, 1980, 1978, 1975, 1974, 1973, 1967, 1957, 1956, 1955, 1953, 1950 and 1949. OU only claims AP national titles as they are unanimous. Just think, Michigan only has 3, but all of the sudden within the last couple of years, now they claim 12 for example. OU also has the most conference championships of any team. OU is the only school with four 100-win coaches, owns a college football record 47-game win streak during the 1950s, and since 1945 leads the sport with 606 wins and a .762 win percentage. OU has the most all-time draft picks of the teams that are now in the SEC in 417. Alabama has 411. Lastly, OU are amongst the top in having the most undefeated seasons in all of college football. Tuck Fexas and Boomer Sooner!

If you guys feel like going to Edmond Oklahoma its like 10 minutes north of OKC go to a place called The Blue Cow its a hole in a wall burger place that is amazing. The burger with a fried egg and bacon is great. Bacon is thick cut applewood smoked and its so good. Neat little diner in a old strip mall behind a new strip mall but man its soo good. I met Steven Adams there once when he played for OKC lol its not expensive either typical small diner cost maybe 12 to 15 bucks for a burger fries and drink.
