Justin as a child was always so charming, kind to everyone, caring. Justin came from a poor family. He was raised by a single mother. His father abandoned him and his mother when he was a small child. His father became interested in his son again only when he became a famous teenager. Justin himself once admitted that he didn't have many of the things his friends had. S. Braun took him to America when the boy was 13 years old and he immediately started working hard. When he was already somewhat recognizable , he was asked what he would like to do with the money he earned. The boy replied that he would like to buy his mother a house. It's a pity that the kid always cared more about his parents than they cared about him. Justin financially supported his mother, siblings and father. It was a big responsibility for a child. I don't have a good opinion of either his mother or his father.Justin admitted that he started smoking marijuana and taking painkillers because he didn't feel safe. He was still living in Canada at the time and was only 13 years old. My question is what happened in the life of a 13-year-old boy that made him feel insecure and suffered so much that he felt pain. I have an even worse opinion of Braun than of Justin's parents. The man took a 13-year-old boy from his family home to a foreign country and promised to take care of him. Justin was under his care, so he should take care of his health. Justin, like every child with ADHD, should be under the care of a professional therapist. Daily functioning is difficult for people with ADHD. In Justin's case, it was even more difficult because he was a child star, so he had more stress, hate, pressure, and worked harder than the average child. Why wasn't Justin in therapy as a child? Braun once said that Justin is the hardest working star he knows. Justin once got sick as a kid and almost lost his voice because he was sang and performed too much. Justin started taking stimulant pills at the age of 14 because he felt tired. Something is wrong when a teenager works so much that he has to take pills to stimulate him. What all these adults did to this boy is heartbreaking. This boy was publicly humiliated as a teenager. How could adults touch him, kiss him, force him to talk about sexual topics, even when he told he felt uncomfortable? And what did the audience do? Everyone present who saw and heard it just laughed at it. People often humiliated teenage Justin. Why wasn't there at least one person who would defend Justin? Justin was surrounded by adults who didn't care about him. It's sad to see the recordings showing his vocal coach saying that Jastin sometimes complained that he wanted to have a normal life. It's even sadder when this kid sits close to tears and his same coach tells him that this is his normal life and whether he wants to go back to Canada or stay in the game. All those people who publicly sexualized him when he was a child are guilty. Just like those who teased him and laughed at him when he was a child. Guilty of turning child into a depressed teenager. Justin was already depressed as a teenager. Depression manifests itself differently depending on age. Depressed teenagers exhibit rebellious, risky, self-destructive behavior and develop addictions. At the age of 18, Justin was already in a very bad condition. His agent later said that it was so bad that he was afraid that Justin would die. All the adults in Justin's life let him down. People close to him, instead of helping him, moved away from him when he started suffering from depression. Years later, Justin admitted that he had suicidal thoughts. Read about how Usher brought 14-year-old boy Justin to L.A. Reid as a gift. Maybe I'm weird, but I don't like treating a child not as a person but as something, as a gift. I don't like it when a grown man admires the boy's beauty the way Reid did. Especially since Justin always looked much younger as a child and teenager. 14-year-old Justin looked more like a 10-year-old boy. When Jastin went from a cute teenager to suddenly a teenager who behaved badly, everyone started to hate him. Why hasn't anyone wondered if maybe something bad has happened to him or he's just fed up with this life and can't stand the pressure? In the song "Lonely", Justin was right when he said that no one listened to him. He told them in so many ways that he didn't want to have that life. He showed them that he was unhappy. His surroundings saw him sick and on drugs, but it was better to look away because that way they could still make money. After what Justin went through and how much he suffered, it's a miracle he's still alive.

He was let down by so many people starting with his parents. Makes me sick to think of what he must have been through and other kids as well 💔

Even on his first album his parents weren't there enough for him, listen to Down To Earth. The kicker is how YOUNG he sounds in that song 💔 "Mama, you were always somewhere And Daddy I live outta town So tell me how could I ever be normal some how You tell me this is for the best So tell me why am I in tears, whoa So far away and now I just need you here"

The first time I heard this song, it absolutely made me cry. Even now that I have heard it a bunch of times I still get teared up, listening to him sing. And now that we know what we know… It makes this song even more tragic, and sad.. this version/performance is beautiful.

I stand by Justin too. This song is heartbreaking - what they did to him when he was a kid, the videos I've seen from these 'parties', he is so drunk he doesn't even know where he is - disgraceful how he was taken advantage of and the adults thought it was funny 😢😢 I love his later music - would love to hear some more ❤

I’m with you. I am just now understanding what happened to him. I had no idea. When Justin is in a headspace to perform from the heart, he really has a fantastic voice. Why did Justin’s MOTHER not step in and take him out of there?? He did not want to be there and he said it but no one listened. They all told him to be silent because they’d help him get ahead in the industry. He would have gotten there anyway and not have had this lifelong trauma. I’ve never been a fan, either. This song is heartbreaking. The breakup with Selena was a huge wake-up call to him because she stood by him NO MATTER WHAT. It had to have been so bad that it literally made him physically sick with the Bell’s Palsy. I hope he’s able to put this in the past but you have to go all the way through it and just not around it. I’ll bet he can finally breathe better knowing that Diddy is in jail and can no longer see or talk to or touch him. I really do wish him well. Love and happiness. HEALTH. GROWTH. FORGIVE HIS YOUNGER, NAIVE AND HAPPY SELF and blame the real disgusting vile people who did this to so many people and got away with it for decades. Diddy is getting his overdue karma!

i really like justin and i have ever since he came onto the scene. sure, he was young but his talent was incredible. i moreso liked him when his music matured and he started doing stuff with other artists like ed sheeran. really loved the purpose album and even went to his concert in sydney, australia. i always felt like he had a rough ride with people always verbally abusing him, hating on him or whatever else. as he said in the song - sure, he made mistakes and quite a lot as a kid - but we all did, that's how we learn. the difference with him is that he had the whole world watching on and the media critcising him. at the same time, he didn't have anyone in his corner. the "adults" who were supposed to protect him and look after him were nowhere to be seen and they've all gone on to end up turning out to be shit humans - scooter braun, "celebrity pastor" carl lentz who had his own problems with numerous affairs while he was married and while the head of hillsong in NYC. i feel like his mum put too much trust in the adults which surrounded him. anyway - i really hope that if he was one of diddys victims which has been all-but-confirmed - i hope he speaks up and seeks justice for all the other victims out there. i also understand he problem wants to just hide away now that he's a father and put the past behind him.

This one hurts, a lot. He's so haunted, I now understand his insistence that Billie be protected. He was doing something he wished someone had done for him. I saw an interview and he is so broken and the way his story was put out there, not by him just makes it all worse, and if there is more to it, they need to let him be the one that reveals that or doesn't.. His music was for my kids, I always believed that. I may not understand or get his music, but people have said that about the music I listen to, also. As a mom and a survivor, it crushes me. I think a lot of those are emotional voice cracks. They are *Belibiers* sorry if I didn't spell it right.

Diddy was blackmailing Usher with the tape he had of him being sodomized to the point of having to be hospitalized. This was the most shameful painful and degrading period in his life and the threat of making it public knowledge was unthinkable. That’s how he kept these young artists in control and doing his bidding. I’m not excusing Usher but I can understand it as an act of self preservation we don’t know what else Diddy threatened him with by then he had seen people disappear or die on Diddy’s orders. Both Usher and Justin were very young teenagers babies when Diddy got them. My question is where were the parents and why would you give your permission for a teenage child go to stay in an adult rapper’s world of wild parties drugs and alcohol for days at a time and when you find out what’s happening you keep it quiet and let your child live with the pain & shame of this dirty little secret. These parents should have had this monster castrated long ago. But I guess they needed to avoid child endangerment charges for allowing your child to be put in this situation in the first place I’m sure Diddy pointed this out to them along with a hefty amount of money. Usher could not have delivered Justin without his parent’s consent. Diddy was master puppeteer he covered all bases for years.

Being groomed at 15 and never being totally let loose even as a grown man married with children, he was groomed to do. What did he told him to do when he told him to do it. Did he ripped him open and put him in the hospital for who knows what transgression. Where was usher going to go for Help? Everybody in the industry all around him knows exactly what’s going on. Even FBI are in his pocket. That’s why Homeland security had to bypass local police departments around all of his homes and the FBI do the raid. The people on the raid didn’t even know whose house they were waiting so it wouldn’t leak. So where was usher going to go to get help not to turn Justin over to Diddy when Diddy demanded him to do so. Look at all the people that are alive because of Diddy temper and jealousy. Clyde Davis, which is also a part of all of this is being accused allegedly offing, Michael Jackson, Prince and Whitney Houston. And did he responsible Tupac biggie how many people that were riding books are all dead including Kim Porter. All those around him knew this was going on. So again, where was Usher going to go to get help not to listen.
