I remember before this fight was made people were saying Canelo would never fight Saunders due to his slick boxing ability and when Canelo fought him and broke his face they had nothing to say. Not only that it’s funny how nobody mentions the fact that Canelo gave Saunders a bigger ring cause Saunders threatened to pull out of the fight if it wasn’t bigger and Canelo still stopped that clown. Great win for Canelo.

Yep and Smith was another supposed boogeyman that people said he'd never face, but they always move on to prop up someone else. Atlas said Saunders had the style to beat him and would make it tough for Canelo still late in the fight. Since this is an MMA channel (from the name anyway) maybe it’s different in MMA. I don’t know much about MMA at all but from a boxing perspective this wasn’t considered a knockout. BJS retired on his stool due to an eye injury specifically a broken orbital bone. So it gets recorded as “RTD” not a “KO”.
