Treat people outside of your spouse and children in a moderation and consistency without telling them your financial situation (+/-) they won’t know what to gossip about you. But when you went on the extreme like these people and then later change to the opposite extreme, then of course people’s egos will get disturbed and jellyfishes will fly like birds. Me, I go to relatives’ events on my own term and schedule. No body knows how poor or rich i am. I don’t ask about people’s financial situations and open no mouth about my own. I have no known enemy in our relatives. Everyone there, i treat equal, no dramas, no gossips, no side taking, no favorites.

There are people out there with savior complex. They have an inflated sense of self importance and get off on helping those who they feel are under them. Sometimes, when those that they helped surpasses them in life, they convince themselves that their friend would had never been successful without their help. Soon jealousy turns into hate and then they'll do whatever it takes to make sure the world knows that it's because of their help that these people are successful, even when it's not completely true. It's a mental illness when you have uncontrollable anger over your own feelings that your friends and family do not see you as superior to them anymore.

Good lord. This is why my husband and I don’t have no friends or relatives. Too much drama. I like a drama free life. My husband and I are each other’s best friend. Pretty sure there’ve been ton of gossip and things gone sideways during each episodes to be that much dramas. In my side relatives or husband’s side, i’m with them on my own term and schedule, no favoritism, no gossips, and aware of boundaries- I don’t have drama.
