Other Key Highlights: 1. Since Peaker has Resist, you can attack with it even early on. If your opponent is at G2 still, they can't use the G3 Heal to minus Crit on Speaker since it has Resist. The scenario doesn't always happen, but it's someone to have in the back of your mind. 2. I feel the G1s can be further explored. So I highly recommend for others to play test and figure out what is more solid.

Luckily we have Galfillia to alleviate the CB spam Honoly forces us into because I'm expecting Honoly to be everywhere. 😭😭😭 Assuming Honoly does become a wide spread format staple though there are a few things I'm trying out: - For my V-Thavas build I'm shifting away from Genovious and liking Revonn more as a way to play through the ride down mirrors post Honoly buff. - For G-Thavas though, I reccomend giving Fort Vessel Dragon a try as an alt-G3. He does cost 1CB but the trade off is all your collumns effectively gain 5k. While it doesn't ancor like Valeos Revive it can be used with in combination with any stirde (post Tidal Bore) to shift from Aqua's usual going wide patterns into fewer but more powerful collumns. The Extra Accel Circle also helps provide an additional 5k buff to a RG if you do have to start sacrificing attacks to Honoly due to low open damage & buffs Pursuit further.

Yeah Honoly is going to be a problem for us. I was also thinking of more ways to help with scaling bigger power with fewer attacks. Yeah Revonn would be a good way to deal with Honoly too since you can attack with your RGs first while you've reduced their power by -5k. Fort Vessel does sound like a better option at this point. Might as well use the CB for -5k. Plus Galfilia can CC, so then we can use our strides too. Even Lambros can help save us some CB. Thanks for watching and your feedback! I really appreciate it!

In my playtesting I noticed that having a G4 in Deck - just to get it into hand from forbidoll Surrogate - is incredible. Hard Drawing it is not the end of the world since it is just a stride fodder. But having the one extra card in hand is so often great! During your testing hand for example you could have searched it out and discarded it for the superior stride cost to safe your heal

Yep I've also considered playing a G4 to do that for Forbidoll. I've considered Lambros or Magnolia Elder. I think Lambros would be a good tech for the Megacolony matchup. Elder I feel is the most versatile. Which one do you play?

@CommanderJaime I was using Lambros. But I only considered the tech because of my experiences with GP (which I play most of the time). There I am running Bastion Prime to have an immediate discard fodder for Percival

I would try finding a few slots for Melania or Cipla. Draw 1 in battle is nice with Tidal Bore

Yep you can always play the older G Era support. I've seen Wirab play Saberflow too.

Hi commander! I put together a pretty good blue wave premium deck not long ago and I've actually had some decent success with the order "In search of an ideal far away" i think it's a solid 1-2 tech card for premium aqua builds. What are your thoughts?

Hi there! If you want it to be a G3 still, you can try out Diamantes V. It's a restander with a different name.

Hey so its been a while since I played vanguard so I was confused on why you get to draw a card when petrol goes in the damage zone. Also why do you get 2 accels when the strides doesn't state you get accels. In addtions do all triggers just get +10k and 15K shield now no matter what era? And why does stride foughter not work for tidal bore i looked at some other strides and their pay the cost of grade 3 or greater looks the same?

Welcome back! There are MASSIVE erratas with some of the old G Era cards that's why! All of the Crits that were specific (like Thavas Crit, Nightrose Crit, etc) have an extra effect now where on Damage check you draw 1 card. All on-hit strides now have 2 additional skills. One is you can superior stride as long as you have the specific G3 and discard cards with summation of G3. Then persona flip to generate 2 Gifts! The other skill is that it's a CONT where the VG's on-hit skills activate even if they didn't hit. How do i counter honolies ans chainrnchors with restands

If they leave Honoly on the field, kill it. If they use the removal skill, then you have to play awkwardly unfortunately.
