The serene setting blends perfectly with the surrounding wilderness, creating a peaceful and memorable experience. 💖 Our family was in Majete Wildlife Reserve recently. Huge change from the early 1970s no roads in Majete. Had large herds of Sable. We used to stay in the Rangers cabin Alfred allowed us to stay their. Had some excellent excellent

Back in the days 1970s before.it was a luxury camp we lucky to stay.in the rangers hut had large herds of sable was a very special place. No roads we walked every part of the reserve

Walks alo g the river bank was risky with plenty crocs . Also used to spend time at Lengwe we often booked the whole camp

Lovely, but these unfenced camps are nerve wracking. At umfolozi we had a hyena on our deck sniffing around for at least an hour one night. My British girlfriend was practically peeing herself.
