This is really hard to watch. Aaliyah was so exhausted. She was supposed to leave that video shoot the next day. She finished it early. they overworked her in order to promote the new album namely the single more than a woman, then they wanted her to film the video for it which she did but she wanted to film the video for the song that she really loved and had a connection with so she pushed for that and eventually got her wish. This song would turn out to be Rock the boat and sadly she would pass away in tragic circumstances after filming had been wrapped up. Blackground overworked her because she was essentially single-handedly keeping the label afloat so they were doing all they could to maximise her exposure at the cost of her quality of life and eventually life period
