This was my "Brave Heart". When Jetix was still on TV, Digimon Savers/Data Squad was on streaming in mu country, and I didn't appreciate this series at that moment because I prefer Pokemon that Digimon. But now, I finally finished to see Savers, and I absolubtly loved.

Digimon savers teaches me about human potential. None of the digidestined in the show is Godlike and becomes the most powerful. For example, there were still Royal knights that outclassed even the burst mode. There was no Susanoomon, omegamon, imperialdramon palindin mode or dukemon crimson mode in this season. However, the team, especially its leader Maseru, defeated the ultimate bad through moral superiority and never giving up. Like the final punch with Agumon burst mode. And the cool thing is that all the team members reached burst mode in the end (in line with the full potential theme). Lastly, Maseru best exemplifies this human potential theme by being able to punch a digimon.

I'll leave it as follows. 1) I understand the whole theme of Digimon (and most anime series like this in general) is that friendship makes you stronger, but Daimon punching to defeat a god feels "godlike" to me. That's not to say by the way that I am against it. This was my 2nd favorite season of digimon after Tamers (season 3)! 2) I do appreciate that after a comment from you 6 months ago you came by to respond :)

There is no need to compare the seasons, mostly because all of them are quite different in their own way and include different types of digievolution. However, I really like this season because showed how stronger the digidestined guys can be. And focusing the sportlight only in 4 its the best idea because all of them had character development and provide their own perspective and expectations throughout the show. The relationships development was epic and all the arcs have deep issues and were managed very well. 10/10

I grew up with Adventure and Tamers was by far my favorite in the series. I dropped Frontier and lost interest in the franchise afterwards. I had seen some Savers footage like some shinka animations but nostalgia fans had spread so many negative comments about it that I didn't want to give it a try... until 2012-ish. I watched the JP version with subs and fuck, I loved it so much! Now it's my second favorite in the whole series.

Beside if you watch Frontier first it will not make sense how the hell two member of Royal Knight work together with the leader of Seven Demon Lords when Royal Knight and Seven Demon Lord is a nemesis and hate each other.

Same here, starting off with the later seasons definitely made me appreciate what made Digimon so special. Xros Wars was the only time (minus the team up episode) a Digimon anime season disappointed me. last ok season of Digimon. Digimon music being great is a given. Believers and the Burst Mode OST are just sick. Kurata is also an amazing villain that kept that carried the show pretty much on his own.

Digimon savers é um ótimo anime, pode não ser o melhor da franquia mas está bem longe de ser um dos piores (Digimon adventure reboot 2020 estou te olhando), e esta canção linda e acalorada é um perfeito exemplo da magia de savers.
