@@GageBohn remember that $2,000 in one month is like pulling a wisdom tooth without insurance. It is a huge amount of money and physically painful. But no one bats an eye when they spend $2,000 a year on coffee. Take breaks after big wins and big losses. Don't let the red number affect your game. Take your time working to break even. Even small $100 wins are wins. Currently my plan is to win $100 a week twice a week until I break even.

Yooo just found this channel, awesome stuff- auto subscribe. I like your playstyle alot and think that you're a very strong player. As someone who plays identical stakes and may be able to offer some insight- I think the 88 and ATdd hands are punts. 88 seems like a spew to go for value OTR and I think ATdd is an easy fold considering that when he doesn't jam, you're getting shit on by his calling range, especially if we perceive his 3bet to be nutted as you were explaining in the vlog. Good stuff, can't wait to see more!
@levoriocolin78024 ай бұрын
As Sam would say... Love it!😂
@MaydayAggro4 ай бұрын
Bad boards for your range don't usually prevent you from betting your entire range. They usually just force you to bet a narrower, stronger range. Wow. That KK hand. Brutal. ATdd: I'm not sure about the 4bet. I think I'd be choosing between calling and folding, leaning toward folding. You have the original raiser in addition to the 3bettor behind you who could 5bet. ATs is a hand that wants to realize equity. It doesn't want to bluff all that often. It's probably fine here; I just don't like it. AQ: I think turn should be a bigger bet. The 8 doesn't uncap villain's range and he snap called the flop. He has trips, a pocket pair, or a draw. Get the value from the hands that are snap calling a smaller bet. After the smallish turn bet, I would definitely go big on river. 64s: Hate seeing the fold on the turn. Is this a good player? Does his bet sizing on the flop mean anything?
@BluffaloSam4 ай бұрын
@@MaydayAggro on the AQ hand, I decided to size down just because he called so quick on the flop, seemed like he had a medium strength hand and wanted to appear strong by snap calling, didn't want to blow him off. The 64s hand was against a very good reg, he's been playing much longer than I have, and in games bigger than I play

When you smashed the flop (Q-J ❤️ flush), you made a nice trapping check, then you hammered the turn with the nut straight, and again made a nice trapping bet, but when a blank hit the river, you shoved all-in. I understand the maximize profit theory, but you had the entire board locked up (minus a K or A high flush), so why push him out of the pot with an all-in, rather than a value bluffy size bet like $275 to $350? I know I can see the results, but it just seemed like you made it impossible for him to call.

Speaking of your A♦️T♦️ hand I had a hand with similarly odd dynamics yesterday I’d like to hear your thoughts on
@BluffaloSam4 ай бұрын
What was it
@logansmith46904 ай бұрын
@@BluffaloSamOkay so I didn’t see this, so I’m not 100% sure but I’m pretty sure this is the hand I was confused about. The similar dynamics come down to the preflop action throwing me off. Pre Notes : UTG is an OMC but will raise with QQ+, AK/AQ. HJ is super OMC (won’t even raise AK or hardly anything) KK on the button. UTG limps. HJ raises to 25. LJ/ME/SB/BB/UTG call Flop 992. HJ bets 25. Only ME/UTG call Turn K. HJ bets 50. ME/UTG call River J. UTG leads 100. *(I had put UTG on pocket tens or jacks, so with this lead I assumed he rivered jacks full) HJ folds. I jam 168 eff with UTG and snap calls… w 99 🤮 Lose $268 ($780 Pot) - [ ] 3 BET PRE !! Don’t be scared of the nuts! (Results oriented I beat UTG and get the UTG limper to fold his 99) So the bottom part was my post hand thoughts about what I should’ve done differently. I think being on the button I felt more comfortable playing a smaller pot in position of the super OMC player. But with Kings this is a mandatory 3 bet regardless right? I’m sure you know 1/3 is so off the walls sometimes. There’s literally people I’ve played with I’ll fold anything but the nuts to because they’re so tight. (Poker is super soft in Reno, Nevada if you ever make your way out here)
