Try to keep Metal for last if you can. Both of his abilities can leave you both in a spot where you're pretty close together, and they won't get as much distance as, say, Cream with her speed boost if Metal uses his Push to run away.

Shadow now has some sort of cool ground pound to. Tackle may have been nice but underestimate this new shadow either, just because he is different doesn't make him worse.

I personally love the idea of the Homing Attack, it just needs to stun for longer than it does right now, because you're basically a sitting duck if you don't have Boost off cooldown.

He definitely needs teammates to work at his best. His boost stomp is really good for starting stuns, just gotta have teammates to follow up after the homing attack, otherwise you're probably gonna get hit.

1.2 shadow enjoyer here to say, he's good. in fact, i like his abilities more than the old ones. sure, tackle and the old boost were amazing to play with, but they made him both incredibly basic and bland moveset-wise, and just made him require absolutely zero skill to use. the new moveset is more unique, and you need to really know how to use his moves to be good at him, instead of taking one look at what he can do and understanding everything there is to know. i feel like people sleep on the new shadow simply because he's more challenging or too different, and it's fine if you prefer the old one over the new one, but that doesn't mean he's bad. he just takes a bit of getting used to

@@dreamshakz two stuns. if you jump while boosting shadow slams into the ground and stuns sonic if he's in a pretty good radios of him. they're both short, but you can use the slam stun, then use homing attack immediately after. leaves him open for another stun from someone else, could push him off a ledge too.

Seriously? Lemme tell you this, Shadow attacks are the most useful started with boost and then press space for high speed stomp towards the ground, followed with homing attack. The result: Shadow stun allows other player to attack exe from behind in that knock state.

I personally like the idea or there being a "Brute" sonic exe, and a "Small" Sonic exe, one being more built on the original from the game of sonic.exe, before the entire.... multiple exe shenanigans, and the other probably after or during the multiple exe shenanigans, but still both are good, but... *When put in the right hands.* it's truly a disaster. but onto the new survivor, Metal- otherwise known as the The guy from that one sonic OVA movie, and Sonic CD, it's hard to deal with as the exe, but as the survivor and when paired with knuckles or a long stunner- grapple uh, can EASILY combo, as Grapple isnt a true stun... otherwise known as something that causes a special animation for the exe, then there's push, uh its annoying to say the least, the metal user is able to escape and use it offensively too, but uh... if you seen what the ACTUAL game of Sonic.exe did to metal uh, to say the least... he got dug down with some hood type-a-shit

i think the only unnecessary change was shadow’s tackle being swapped with the homing attack but even then, it’s really fun to use. The update was such a refresher as we FINALLY got a new character, upgraded abilities and AT LAST the map layout and design was upgraded to match the upgraded character models. I don’t know about you, but this update added a lot of amazing stuff.
