I was told by a university professor when I did my biology and chemistry degree to always eat onions as onions contain left handed lysine, we were studying isomers, which is very important for the eyes and sight. He told us that left handed lysine was at the time only found in onions, no other foods. So ever since I always eaten onions regularly, mostly gently cooked, but occasionally raw. That was 40 years ago. My sight is still perfect. I also eat a large raw carrot every day when possible.

The NAC in #8 he is referring to should be N-acetylcarnosine (NAC) and not N-acetylcysteine (which is also abbreviated as NAC). N-acetylcysteine (NAC) does replenish glutathione, but N-acetylcarnosine (NAC), which comes as eye drops, would help prevent or reverse early (or immature) cataract formation. 🤷♂️👍

@TheoWink-wh8st Nope. I give K2 out to all my friends, along with Kate Rhéaume-Bleue's book on the subject. Great Read, you should give it a whorl. I used 10X RDA. BUT nobody reads anymore, anyway. The whole thing is lost on my stupid, silly friends from my youth. Furthermore: Take a look at the picture of the cataract displayed in the video. What does that look like? Calcium? Imagine that. Calcium being deposited in the soft tissues. Sort of like: Hardening of the arteries. Hardening of the prostate, so they eventually have to core it out, so the guy can pee. All the organs harden in the end. Kidney, pineal gland, brain, you name it. The body has an affinity for calcium, over time. So Americans are susceptible, with no K2 in their diet. Check it out.

Tip for dog owners. There's also carnosine eye drops that, after several weeks of use, cleared a common type of cloudy cataract in my 14-year-old West Highland terrier's eyes and she stopped bumping into furniture and could clearly see much better - back to normal or nearly so. Her eyes remained clear for 4 more years until she passed away having only occasionally given her drops for maintenance (btw, she ate fresh cooked meat, no dog food). As Dr Berg explained, it's thought that cataracts form from sugars being added to proteins on the lens (glycation) and carnosine drops specifically work via an antiglycation effect. Animal studies confirmed this mechanism for carnosine drops and also showed carnosine reduced oxidative stress. I used the Can-C brand. [reposted this from a reply]
@gracecotton98192 жыл бұрын
chaos theory I have been using Can-C myself since November last year. As I cannot see my cataracts, I have no idea if they are disappearing, and will have to wait until the next eye test to find out. Very glad the drops were successful for your dog, during the latter years of her life.

My glasses were like Coke bottles as a kid and I was teased terribly. Thank God for contact lenses that can correct really bad vision now. I've been fighting rheumatoid arthritis now for the last 17 years. They're getting me some of these steroids over the years they've just ruined my body from gaining terrible amounts of weight and then losing it and then gaining it again and losing it. I feel like my skin will never be tight again but I'm still working on it. I'm being told now I have cataracts from all the steroid use but I'm concerned about doing the surgery because the lenses are only single vision they put in which means glasses for the rest of my life. Right now contacts are correcting my vision so I'm keeping an eye on them. I was excited to see your videos on cataracts I'm going to try and do all I can to help them naturally and put up that surgery.

I theorised that maybe if people with Cataracts drank Distilled Water (no minerals or Particulates) their Cataracts might disappear. 4 people I helped to get rid of their Cataracts within 3 Months. (you need to keep up your good Minerals though as they also will eventually be removed) Macular Degeneration is also being caused by eating "Canola Oil" in Australia.- I have found that Coconut Oil is the best oil for many things, including most brain problems. I now have advanced cataracts (60 years old) - I believe from stress (cortisol) and too much sugar consumption. I am not keen to get cataract surgery due the many poor outcomes I have heard unless you have “garden variety” cataracts (which are very successful). I will do everything I can to flush, keep off sugars, and nutrient load my body and see what happens. Maybe I’ll take the surgery plunge if nothing else works anyway.

Forget people over age 80 try people getting cataracts when your 35. Having surgery. One did great the the one had to be replaced x2 Was horrible. Then got glaucoma in bad eye and glaucoma dr. Sent me to another specialist that figure out the cataract doctor really missed up one eye. My regular eye doctor can’t seem to get glasses where I can see out one eye. You got any doctors to recommend to go see for glasses. Love your videos. God bless you.

I had cataracts and was scheduled for surgery. Then I remembered reading about how infusing high grade hexane free in the eyes would dissolve cataracts. Within a week my cataracts were not only mostly gone but I ended up with 20/20 vision. My eyes are now clear and brilliant. All for a few dollars worth of castor oil. It also worked on the eyes of our 17 year old dog.

My daughter born w cataracts. Not good answers here. She's 22. Dr. Suggested surgery at some point, and at that point would loose close vision. She's so anxious about it. Me too Any thing you can add to go or do?
@lassipls Жыл бұрын
@@aveccoeur3874 I don't actually know much about the subject, only my own experience. I was born blind, and as far as I know I've had at least 4 surgeries done, some of which were for glaucoma. When I was a baby they were able to do cataract surgery on my left eye, removing the cloudy lens. I also had a surgery where they added a hollow tube to the back of my right eye to relieve pressure due to glaucoma. Later when I was 9 years old I had surgery done to my left eye to replace the cloudy lens that was removed many years ago with an artificial lens, I don't remember much of how it improved my vision other than I no longer had to wear glasses to be able to see. The last surgery was when I was 25 and it was due to high pressure in my right eye, it was some kind of a laser surgery where they make tiny holes in the eye with a laser to relieve pressure. Another thing about the cataract surgery where you get an artificial lens, normally the lens in your eye is soft so it can change shape to focus on things either close to or far from you. But an artificial lens is completely solid so you are locked in a single focus range. For me that means that when I wear my normal glasses so I see things far away, I can't use my phone or read anything that's within an arm's reach of me because they are out of focus, so I have to either take my glasses off, or switch to reading glasses. Maybe my point being, I've done just fine with the eyes I was given, right eye still being blind and my left having an artificial lens. In my daily life not being able to naturally change focus distance is of no concern for me at best, and an annoyance at worst. I can't give any suggestions to what she should do since I'm not a doctor, but for me, if it was possible, I wouldn't think twice about having cataracts surgery done to my blind right eye. My comment may come off as incoherrent since I haven't really talked about my condition with anyone before. If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

@@lassipls thank you so much for that information. It does confirm some things. And also gives me hope. Feel terible I had high risk pregnancy and I had to take a steroid to keep my baby, 22 years ago. No choice. Lost many. And Dr. Told her it was meds I took. Which was only one. Anyway... my bubbly girl became more distressed about a prospect of vision worsening and being disabled. The Dr was not reassuring. She couldn't deal with it a couple years. We have a second opinion coming up a month away. Trying to get as much information, reality, but positive. Won't hurt to try both the nac and the castor oil. I have one to so we will try together. You sound very happy and positive. Thank you for taking time to reach out. 🙏

It is fascinating to listen to Dr Berg, unique and fascinating information and facts. Why don't the medical Colleges teach this stuff to the doctors. I have never seen a doctor prescribing or saying such prolific stuff.
@LordByron18212 жыл бұрын
Family doctors are completely useless. They don't understand or they don't want to understand what proactive prognosis means . All they do is wait until your problem is beyond control to prescribe pills with side effects which will cause more health issues. Most of those doctors do not respect or follow the hippocratic oath.

Thank you so much for this. I have a question. Can I stop cataract or reverse it without surgery?
@SpamMouse2 жыл бұрын
Cure = Lens replacement surgery. Eating proteins with sugar produce advanced glycation end-products, AGE which is bad for eyes and everything else. I GUESS extended periods of fasting "might" improve things - but I doubt any variant of doctor would suggest this.
@scottslotterbeck37962 жыл бұрын
There was a flurry of interest in a doctor at UC San Diego who found that a cholesterol variant called lanosterol reversed cataracts in dogs. But you have to inject it in the lens capsule, and no one does that. I think they stopped the research b/c cararact surgery is so profitable for opthalmologists.

There are 2 types of UV rays that can harm your sight: UV-A rays can cause damage to your central vision. UV-B rays can damage the cornea and lens on the front of your eye. That’s why it’s a good idea to get sunglasses that block UV-A and UV-B rays.
