Proactive rather than reactive nature payoff- intensive documentation to follow in your absence, noted at every stage of the SDLC rather than right before any vacations 2. No one man is too important- servitude leadership benefits the team that is used to autonomy and self reliance Always make sure to highlight the Team, Product and User's needs; include a takeaway segment for self- development Edit: Mental Health of your employees is INCREDIBLY important too. If they need you in case of emergencies, they should always reach out. Especially the newbies
