He read on an elementary school level when arriving at UGA....he left to be drafted because of it. He was extremely good, but wasn't coachable. I actually feel really bad for the kid...he could have been a great one with the right guidance. Victim of coming from a small town that didn't push academics AT ALL! I knew Trent and his brothers when he was in high-school he came in the barbershop I worked at. I cut him a few times over his tenure with UGA. Injuries really messed him up. He was recruited by Richt when Kirby smart came he wasn't one of Kirbys guys. He kinda fell by the wayside. He still got some meaningful snaps, even played in the National championship against Alabama in 2018. He just left a year to early and never fully developed as a pro player. Dude is a good guy humble, and Wasn't addicted to pain pills. Only drug he did was weed from time to time. Hate that narrative was put out. He definitely hated school. Wasn't one of his strengths. Some guys just don't make it to the big league. That's what happens when people tell you your whole life you are going to the league and when it doesn't happen you feel lost. Prime example of letting kids enjoy being kids and not putting so much pressure on them to be great at 16 and 17 where they don't put the emphasis on education like they should and don't have a plan for life after ball...

Happens to most high school athletes. Most young athletes are only better when they're young because they're just so much bigger, faster and stronger than everyone else. You were asking for info on the IFL and the Vegas Knight Hawks. I’m the Team Photographer for a team in the league, the Iowa Barnstormers. This is where Kurt Warner played when he was getting into the NFL. Basically the league has been around for a long time, but as always, but always switching names throughout the years. One time it was the CIFL then the IFL then they merged with the AFL but changed. They had 3 guys signed to NFL rosters during the spring, and have plenty of talent in the league so it’s fun to be apart of
@alanburke94036 ай бұрын
The Canadian Football League is very old and very honored. They have 12 men on the field and only three downs. There's no such thing as a fair catch. The field is wider, 110 yards long, and the end zones are 25 yards deep. You get one point for punting the ball beyond the end line. They have a limit on the number of imported players you can have on a team and a lot of the Canadians are linemen so you need to really show something to make the team. Maryland uses a lot of non-qualifying players after they put some years getting their academics together in junior college or FCS schools. This young man needed to go to an FCS School. Edmonton is an oil producing city. It's large considering how cold it is. They have the world's largest indoor mall and you can watch the Edmonton Oilers practice from within the mall. Wayne Gretzky played most of his NHL career for the Edmonton Oilers.
@shinerdrinker92496 ай бұрын
I wonder why your first thought was drugs. Yes, that's a strong possibility. But you know the young man was making his way through life by crashing into equally strong of stature young men multiple times a day. That stuff does tend to accumulate over time. I believe a combination of head impacts and, yes, help with different substances worked equally to stunt this young man in the prime of his life. You could also jump to the big fish from a small pond being dumped into a much bigger pond with other fish the same size as him. THAT, has taken down many more young hopefuls than drugs or successive combat blows to the skull!
