@@aweir7108 Some of this can be due to A/B testing. You can put multiple thumbnails on one video (up to three) and it will show the different ones to different viewers. You can then check which one is getting more attention and pick that as your thumbnail that will show up. This helps you see which kind of thumbnails the viewer base likes. Also, the thumbnail and title are very important in getting impressions (getting the video shown to multiple people) on youtube as of now.

That was excellent Grant. Well done for being such a good sport encouraging the young man to maintain his cool and achieve a great score. I studied "Mental Toughness" for my MSc (Developing Mental Toughness: Improving Performance, Wellbeing and Positive Behaviours by Peter Clough (Author), Doug Strycharczyk (Author). Blades exemplified the four key areas of the concept: Challenge, Confidence, Commitment and Control. Blades did this by: 1.Challenge - Setting the goal to shoot 5 or more under. 2.Confidence - having confidence in his ability to play the ball wherever it stopped on the course. 3.Commitment - deciding what shot to play and playing it, not letting doubts creep into his play. 4.Control - Blades controlled his emotions by focusing on the next shot and not which had just passed. So as an example of "Mental Toughness" Blades not only shot 7 under, he nailed the 4Cs. Blades also gave you some advice on putting - Speed - so you can see how you can apply the concept of the 4Cs your putting. Regards Nick
