I learned how to play ymir from ranian in like 2018 and spent a few seasons battling for the #1ymir spot with BiffdaBoy and TheComplainer0. They're both better than me but we were easily the best 3 ymirs for a long while on console. Sam being this hyped about these plays both makes my heart warm and makes me want to get back into smite❤️ thank you Sam

@@loradunham1947 I don't play conquest. I can tell you that the duel building can be diverse. I don't keep up with the meta like i used to so currently I couldn't tell you the best build. when I play, i generally just build against what i'm playing. if i'm fighting against someone who will beat me in a melee auto attack battle(merc/arachne/etc), I build ability based. If it's someone that maybe doesn't have much CC and not much run away potential, I like to build auto attack. Sometimes it's better to build bancroft and mostly damage with maybe a demonic grip and then you upgrade your bancroft for the extra attack speed. As for how to get better and tips, watch old ranian videos and practice. He is a phenom on ymir and great to learn from. But practice practice practice. I'm currently #6 in the world
