I find the problem with people doing KZbin, or any other type of content creation, is lack of strategy. They come up with ideas and upload them and post them straight away. They may be motivated for a couple months and may upload 40 videos in that time. 40 videos could be 40 or 20 weeks instead of 2/3 months. Batch and post consistently (also use a lot of famester to make that content viral immediately). Don't post everything straight away, post it on the same day/time every week. This also helps avoid burn out...

Hardest part of an interview is breaking someone down so they feel open to being themselves rather than saying what they think they should say. Gary does it excellent by giving people honest value upfront. Once that dude let down his guard this interview became top notch. He was yelling and talking about his nana. That’s the game guys. Learn how Gary did that and you will win.

I agree with the wisdom - older people have experience, and we disrespect them. I am lucky to have a mentor with whom I spent most of my time and learned much. Most people ignore them. I would love to spend my time with them. It is more fun to be them because they don't care about anything. That is the best.

A brand is a promise, pledge commitment. It’s what you stand for, and stand against. The purpose of a brand is for you to become the only emotional solution in your marketplace, eliminating 100% of the competition The goal of a brand is income when people emotionally connected to you they will buy more from you at a faster rate at higher conversions and higher prices repeatedly That is the definition, purpose and goal of a brand

Honestly Idk if Gary gives great social media advice. Not to say its bad intention or misleading. I remember Gary talking about Podcasting and his advice was to not worry about anything except talking. That if you are good all you need is a mic and it doesn't matter about anything else that will lead to success. But now years have gone by since he said this and I think he was wrong. If his message was suppose to mean hey be consistent dont be afraid just get better then there is some value in that. Every time I listen to Podcasters now talk about growth they emphasize branding as most valuable. That they would talk and no one would come and it was hard to get viewers. But once they focused on Branding, the look, the target audience, what would appeal to them is when the growth began. But when he gave his advice it was as if the branding wasn't important and all you should focus on is talking but realistically people aren't going to come watch with that strategy. Obviously thats kind of where he is going on in this interview but my point is I think his principle is late to the curve in a way. 6-8years ago people had been podcasting using that method but by the time he gave the advice it was already on the way out. All these years later he is talking about branding and content when I think this strategy is phasing its way today.
@lumeshisthebest11 ай бұрын
Gary I have 10 years of documenting and I was one of the first to introduce clean ingredients to the cosmetic industry. My brand was built around being all inclusive and now both are main stream. I did it in 2008, launched and made $546,000 by 2012 Brought some business advisors on who tanked me paid the $97k in consultating fees and went into product One of them literally told me “you are wasting your time on videos” had I done what I wanted to do is be a millionaire but I’ve been in the hole financially all this time and I’m almost head above water. I want to launch my footage but my product line is still unknown should I put it out anyway, or do I need a good editor to make is make sense? I think I missed out cuz I didn’t put the videos out as it was unfolding.
@TylerRivera10 ай бұрын
I would consider an editor a story is what people buy into! Be intentional and tell the story.. even consider narrating portions in front of a backdrop, or recapping the struggles/train of though during that time.. talk about the success
