Hi Ben, congrats on your course! What I am most excited to learn in the course is to understand the WHY. I hope to become better at problem solving and surprise the client, art director and even myself more instead of just making the deadline with blood, sweat and lots of tears. I have already learned so much from your channel about the WHAT and the HOW. I am going to enjoy the WHY and promise to label all my layers if I win the pass :-)

Ben, you‘er pretty much the person that made me believe that I can actually learn animating and that every animation no matter how complex can be broken down and recreated eventually 🙏 While you have helped me already immensely with your videos on KZbin, this course would finally give me the push to actually master this beautiful, creative passion of mine 🙌💯

I'm most excited about knowing and better understanding all the different options of the software, because I mostly use the basics I've remembered from animation channels or just the things I've come up by myself while exploring AE - which is enough for my compositing but I'd love to finally take another step further. I rely on tutorials from this channel for over a year and it's easy to say that it has opened my mind to so many creative things I can do with motion design (because I used to do only traditional frame by frame character animations before). It would really expand my knowledge and prepare me for the future job as an animator. Plus Ben Mariott's videos just have the right vibe to you know, inspire to try new things and break the comfort zone (for me - trying something more geometrical and simple while still keeping it interesting)! Thanks for what you do!

What I am expecting from this course is actually being able to compose the animations with the techniques, transitions you're going to show comfortably by adding on my current after effects knowledge. I have been following your tutorials they always gave me the inspiration and motivation to keep going when I felt like "nah I can't do it". That's why I would like to take a step further and get into professional level. I would love to be part of your course community and learn the deep skills given through your course. The currency differences in my country and not being able to use the PayPal kind of websites for transfers as they are not supported in my country making it harder for me to purchase it. I really appreciate you offer solutions and really care about our questions regarding to the course. I would be super happy if I'd win this give away. Trying my chances! Thank you so much for offering us amazing opportunities ❤️ you are really the best 👍🏻

The course would be a boon coming from someone as well-spoken and concise as yourself. You have a way of conveying information with all the UI present and jargon comprehensible enough for a novice like myself to learn from and retain lucidly. I'm aiming to learn new skills as a visual artist that will help me convey my ideas outside of static media. It would be an unmistakably worthwhile experience. Thank you for putting this course together, and looking forward to continuing to follow your work!

I've been watching you for years and I can safely say your KZbin tutorials were the ones that helped me the most and got me interested in the first place to all of the animation in After effects. Honestly, the things I'm most looking forward to in this course are the aspects of motion design that take work from good to magnificent. It can be frustrating when you get into a "comfort rut" where your produce work that's good, but limited by what you know. It's even more frustrating when you realize how much better your work could be if you only knew just a few elusive, handy concepts or a different perspective / mindset. My skills have been stuck on intermediate for a while, considering my current job only needs very short animations for UI interactions and loading states. Hi Ben, I've been following you for quite a while, you've been helping me by each video i get to watch, how to be a better animator, and to also be more playful with it too, and open up more my eyes, in my case, im learning animation with youtube, so basically you and other youtubers taught me everything i know and im looking forward to keep learning, if i were to win this course, i feel that what ill be more insterested in is on transitions and cuts, editing is super easy for me because im an editor, thats my thing but in editing most of the time if find the solution with a cut, we dont "create" the cut, but here you have to know a lot of transitions and know how to use each and for what, so basically thats what im the most excited about.

I'm looking forward to the small nitty gritty aspects of AE and motion design that are so often overlooked in tutorials! I'd also like to polish my workflow, and stop doing everything the "hard way" (I'm really good at it lol). I've only really attended KZbin University for my AE/motion knowledge and often feel "fraudish" since I don't have any formal training. I have problems with following workflow and structured learning in a traditional setting even with help from the disability team of the school I attended, so I’d love to give myself a better chance of being able to follow structured learning in this manner - being able to ask specific questions without holding up a class, pausing and rewatching, the weekly breakdown of clear learning outcomes, it all makes me feel really optimistic. Thank you for creating your content too, it’s helped me so much so far already!

Strangely enough I never thought I would get into Motion design. When I first took a Form and Motion class in college during my second year, I thought it was tedious and hard to understand within just 15 weeks of classes. But since then I have had your channel to help me, and slowly have grown to love how motion can change the user experience to such a degree. I want to do the same for my designs. What I’m most looking forward to in this course is simple: to learn the different layers of motion, and to understand WHY and HOW it exceeds in attracting the eyes of its viewers.
