I’m 60 years old and I’m so happy I haven’t drank alcohol most of my entire life I’ve never even had a glass a wine in my life. If I had gone back to school I would have had a career in preventative medicine, instead I went into business. Health and nutrition is a hobby for me. This is very informative and educational which I’ll be forwarding to a few people . Thank you for this!

@jacquelineglogan6341 what are you doing here. I've never smoked in my entire life and don't eat junk food. I think I'll go on their forum and say that. I've work in the food , diner, industry after many years in the dental office. My teeth are fantastic. I can give advice on both dental care and food preparation

@@raymondlin8728 This is not an AA platform it is an educational platform. After viewing this information I found it to be a great confirmation and excellent discussion and findings! By the way I eat well too and never smoked! 😀 God Bless!

@@raymondlin8728 Ohhh I’m sorry you feel that way! I wasn’t giving any advice in fact, I thought the discussion and scientific findings were solid. I know a few people who would be very interested in this and might help them with their own personal stories and journey for health. I was commenting because I’m glad I never did drink, smoke and eat healthy when I was younger I was totally criticized for not joining the crowd! I wasn’t aware it was an AA platform, is it?

I'm a 71 year “old” male that comes from a long line of whiskey drinkers and we've all had to endure long lives. I can barely imagine not enjoying my daily happy hour, something I've enjoyed for many decades. I like to think I do everything right for myself, daily moderate to hard exercise, daily hill hikes with my loyal Shepherd Dog. I eat well, mostly protein, mainly organic foods, very little sugars or processed foods, all home-cooked. I also breath clean country air 99% of the time, and I quit the rat-race years ago when I retired well off. I share my life with a lovely woman. It all seems to work for me - no ailments, no meds, no chronic pain, a clear mind. I've always been an independent free thinker, done my own thing. At this point, I think I'd like to hit my late eighties, but only if I can keep doing what does it for me. No one gets out alive, so I say “ live it up, don't worry, be good, think”. Cheers!🍀

@@irishmick6709 Sounds like it is working for you! 🙌 Many of my friends drank over the years including my own husband whom I’ve been married to for 31 years. I see no benefit from it for me personally. Everyone is on their own journey it’s just a personal choice. When I see this video made me think hmmm 🤔 I’m glad I didn’t. This information isn’t about being right or wrong, it’s informative scientific findings and study, many people I know who could benefit to hear it. Especially with dementia in their families.

I'm 57. I quit drinking Dec 25th 2019, after making a fool of myself on Christmas eve in front of my son. I've been sober since, and I'm leaner, fitter, smarter, and sleep better. I worked harder and got a better career. I don't tell anyone to stop drinking, but I do tell people why doing so has been so good for me.

Yes, but also everything with alcohol is considered equal. With pure alcohol like Vodka I experience no problems. Not even hangover. With beer or wine I will have bad reactions after more than 1 glass. The same with colored alcohols like Whisky, dark rum whatever. Alcohol is not just alcohol. Ethanol has little effect on me. Other alcohols that carry toxic substances like fusel alcohols they definitely do harm.

@@herrkulor3771you may not experience problems but you don't know what's going on inside your body and brain. I drank a lot but I ran, walked , etc everyday. My blood pressure, cholesterol, were very high Brain scan, liver scan, showed dark spots, but yet I felt completely fine. Anyway, I trust my bloodwork, my doctor, etc and gave up all drinking. Not even Moderation. Nothing. ❤❤

Thank you for saying it like it is. This research confirms common sense, not what big money, peer pressure and our exorbitant culture promotes. In reality, alcohol consumption asks for unconsciousness and tragically, receives it.

not exactly, but sugars are not something we need to add to our diets and your ability top process them decreases with consumption, if you have enough, then diabetes will be the result.

You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health. Lower stress, reduce obesity, get enough sleep and more exercise are key to a healthy life. Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world. Fast food and sugary drinks including fruit juices are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity. Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly. Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer. Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game. A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun. Every city should be a bicycle city. Speak up for bicycles in your community

I would think many people would never get alzheimer's, if they drank pure water, well, spring or purified. Avoid aluminum pots, pans, aluminum foil. And avoid government pokes in the arm with Thimerosal that contains mercury in it. And don't eat junk food.
