What’s the reasoning for having your dunk build as your main over your layup build?

In ranked game modes the yellows and reds don’t go in as much. Also, in wager rules you can’t use “real player %” for layup timing, so I don’t wanna rely on something I can’t use in wagers.

@@justinrandall2218 Vouch for this. I'm returning to the 2k series for the first time in 7 or 8 years in 2k25 and I made a build very similar to the Jokic build in this video. If you can learn to box out well. grab boards, position yourself well on offense as to not hinder the skilled guards, and hit the occasional open shots when you're given the ball, your teammates will love you and it's relatively easy to do.
