As someone who has lived in a ton of Canadian cities, I have settled on Victoria in British Columbia being the best. Extremely temperate weather, laid back lifestyle, quaint English feel downtown, and the natural to-do list never ends. The trend of young people moving there from everywhere because its still a city with all the amenities, but not devoid of character like somewhere like Calgary is huge. Economy is growing especially in the housing market, and as someone who works in healthcare you will never be jobless.

Vancouver is basically Hongcouver at this point due to wealthy chinese buying up properties and selling them for astronomical prices. The worst part is that they're loyal to the liberals, which is why they've been in power for 7 fucking years while Canadians suffer and can't afford to buy their own house.

Canada has very good system for immigrants. It has a system based on education background and work experience. So immigrants mostly come to help improve Canada in terms of economy. Additionally, it makes population of Canada not to decrease but increase under control. What is important is the quality and tolerant ones should be the ones coming .

Provincial Nominee Programs, an integral and rapidly growing aspect of economic immigration to Canada, continued to extend invitations for permanent residence. In this month alone, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia have each issued invitations for permanent residence. These provinces invited several hundred candidates combined. Meanwhile, Express Entry (EE), has already had its biggest year ever. IRCC has issued over 100,000 invitations in a year for the first time since Express Entry’s launch in 2015. The complex and varied structure of EE allows IRCC to respond to the challenges of the coronavirus. For example, by limiting many of EE draws this year to the Canada Experience Class, IRCC has been able to focus on individuals who are very likely to already be physically present in Canada. This said, IRCC has also opened draws to individuals in the Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades classes. Canadian immigration policy this year has been like Canada itself, battered and challenged in extraordinary ways but also tenacious and resilient and poised to reach even greater heights once we get through the pandemic. We can draw comfort, as I do, from the countless acts of compassion and kindness that have illuminated the darkness of disease and dislocation. I think of the Nanji family from Uganda. They were expelled from Uganda when the dictator Idi Amin banished all people of South Asian origin from the country in 1972. They had three months to uproot, but they were able to find a haven, a home, and ultimately spectacular business success in Canada. They pledged to one day repay their adopted country for her kindness and hospitality. The Nanji family has done just that, already donating millions to various health causes. When the coronavirus hit, the family again stepped up to the plate and donated $1.6 million to hospitals fighting the disease. They sent $100,000 to sixteen different institutions. A family who came as refugees, climbed the ladder of economic success, and in the end, enriched their new home. Could there be a more quintessentially Canadian immigration story? Wherever you are, and whichever holidays you celebrate, I wish you and yours good health, a Merry Christmas and happy New Year. May 2021 bring a return to normalcy, but also retain the kindness and creativity we have seen this past year. ➖ ➖

Allow far leftist, self loathing, White guilt riddled, elitist NWO race traitors to open the borders to hostile third world regions, and watch it all go up in smoke. Not hate- just facts that are easily proven and already on display for all to witness where ever anti-white policies are practiced. Vote right wing conservative and prosper. Love the third world? I'm thinking about moving to Saskatchewan. Saskatoon seems like the perfect sized city, and you can buy a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom House in a safe neighbourhood for $200k. Plus overall living expenses are lower. With government subsidized car insurance I would only pay $80/mo compared to $300/mo in Calgary. Plus there's a lot of lakes with really nice beaches a little up north for an inexpensive get away vacation. The trade off is the winter temps, and from an outsider looking in there seems to be a lot of discrimination towards the first Nations community.

TOP 13 REASONS NOT TO MOVE TO CANADA : 1. Canada's weather really sucks for 6 ot 7 months of the year. 2. Canada's new gender ideology has practically turned child abuse into a normal practice and freedom of speech a dangerous practice. 3. Canada restricts the choice of parents when educating their children. 4. There's too much pride for being homosexual and too much promotion of this practice. 5. Feminism in Canada is so radical that it has destroyed all normal interaction and communication between men and women. 6. Real estate and rent prices in Canada are outrageously inflated as if it were France’s Champs-Élysées, Mexico’s Polanco or New York’s Upper East Side. 7. Food prices are generally way too high. 8. There’s too much depression and loneliness in Canada. 9. Family as the unit and foundation of society is being lost at U.S. rates. 10. Taxes are unnecessarily way too high. 11. Canadian Government is often meddling in your private life an criminalizes normal human behavior like just expressing yourself freely. 12. Canada is an outrageously elitist country when it comes to immigration policies as it demands quite a curriculum for prospect immigrant permanent residents and citizenship instead of just normal humans. 13. CONTRADICTORY IMMIGRATION LAWS WHICH MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR IMMIGRANTS NOT TO EITHER BREAK THEM OR OVERSTAY. So really, Canada is way overrated, just like Baseball, Harvard University, Harley Davidson, The Mona Lisa, U2, malls, or Star Wars.

IT Sectors is not a good job? People wish they had your job. Be grateful you even have a job! Because of these damn Immigrants Trudeau brings into the country and taking all these jobs away from actual Canadians it's becoming harder for some born Canadians to get jobs!

Not in southern Ontario. It has the best weather in Canada. The winter you refer to is limited to Dec-March....far from never ending. Also, I’m most of BC they don’t even get snow at all. High sales tax (13%) is offset by having $0 healthcare costs.
