For the Marshall MF 350 the pre amps are Valve with a solid state power.

You're welcome, I had a couple of Hybrids in the 80s that were power Valves and Solid State preamp (Roland Bolt 60 and ProAmp Vyper 210 (MusicMan Clone)) but as far as I can tell there's have been very few amps with this configuration. I have just switched from a Line 6 Spider IV 75 to and all valve Egnater Tweaker 15 - I think you might like the 40 Watt version of this amp (the 15 is loud though). Still using a Spider IV 15 in Church on Sundays. While the Spider IV was an improvement over the III it can still be difficult to get a good sound, for me I have concluded that there is simply TOO MUCH choice which always leaves me feeling that I can still make it sound better. I think that all of your recommendations are good because each one has a definite sound and for each player its just a case of fine tuning a few preferences making it easy to get a good sound, Loving the videos, we have been using a bit more Reggae in Church so needed to brush up, found your site because our drummer made a comment about me using the wah and a search led me to your site. I'm also using the RP360XP so definitely interested in how you are using it. I have it set up as three stomp boxes and a wah. On Sunday's I use it for Chorus, Echo, Reverb and other modulation effects I never use the distortion or the amp simulations. When I use my full effects rig then it covers Echo (along with a DD-2), Phaser, Tremolo, Octaver, Auto Swell, UniVibe and Rotary, I use the CE-3 for Chorus and mostly use the Vox Wah rather that the RP360 one. I love it because although it's not perfect it is close enough for some of the effects that I really don't use that often. I also use the Plate Reverb on the RP360 to supplement the Oceans 11 that I use mainly for Spring. IMHO the Reverbs and Echos are the best effects in the RP360. Do you use an FS3X with your RP360?

@@playreggaeguide you are welcome. IMHO the FS3X makes it so much easier to use the RP360XP in a live context. It's taken me a while to come up with with a way of organising the presets so that they are easy to scroll through. Thanks again for the material you have created I really appreciate this being available and especially like your open approach. BTW are you going to do a video on using the Phaser effect for rhythm guitar?
