I wish you guys would have asked us what the KZbin audience wanted before starting it again. I know you may have asked the discord but that's just an echo chamber or your guy's ideas. They will agree with pretty much anything you guys do. You guys know the spark of this series is relatability, if you choose to ignore it then so be it. But just know it won't be the same.

Live selling makes the series unrepeatable to anyone without a social media following. As an ebay seller myself, I would not be able to be successful on Whatnot due to not having the following for people to join. Where as with someone like you guys, people will pay significantly higher in general for items that are unrealistic for others. I'm sure it will still be a good series, and I look forward to watching it. But if the goal is to show people "you can do it as well", that will no longer be the case for round 2.

What! You have got to be kidding me ??? You had me all hyped for the yard sale videos and the $10 business starting up. Now you are going to use your already established fan base and customer base to quickly move inventory. Any "new" seller or "beginner" is not going to have a customer base to be able to just hop onto whatnot and get the sales like that right away. Instead of it being a season 2 it's more of an extension of your business that you are already doing. Hate being so negative about something but it feels like a big bait and switch.

Jesse, you’ve been watching for a long time. You’ve digested hours of the content we’ve put out. Honest question, Do you think we’ve put out content that is beneficial for”new” and “beginner” sellers? Do you think it’ll be possible for these beginners to enjoy the challenge, even if the speed in which we might be able to achieve results is different from someone else? Do you think they might still learn something from it? This business started out as one person, in a spare room buying random lots to learn what can be sold on eBay. Like any good business, it’s evolved and grown. Our hope is that people can shed excuses and scarcity mentalities to find some grit and passion to get after it and build their OWN version of a $10 business. They don’t need to copy us, but if we can help motivate or inspire someone to just START. That’s a win.

I remember when it was just chase in that small basement announcing he Is going to be a father. I just rewatched some earlier yard sale seasons. You guys have put out a lot of content for new sellers especially on the catrp channel. I'm along for the ride regardless and yes change is hard for a lot of people myself included. I think at that moment I just felt very excited to see a new not established business grow! I get that social media and followings is the new norm for you guys now and you want to move the inventory faster but I felt pretty bummed. I know you guys owe me nothing but who knows hopefully it'll be an awesome series! Wishing you guys the best yard sale season.

Live selling ruins season 2 👎👎 Makes the series unrelatable which defeats the purpose and why so many people liked it. You guys are going to make way way more money because you already have an established fan base + people will pay up for certain items just because of who you are. If it’s advertised as $10 to $50,000 and that’s it, sure, but please don’t advertise it as “seeing if YOU can take $10 and make $50,000 in 5 months” or whatever. Please try to make the series realistic or else it’s pretty pointless.

I don't think season 2 was ever going to be a "this is what YOU can do". I agree with you on it ruining the actual concept of the series but the series is simply content. As a business they can't afford to do it the slow way, the way all of us would have to start. It's unfortunate but it is what it is.

thats what the first series is for, go back and watch that if you want to relate, now this series is for people who did that initial step and have a full business and arent just starting out, it makes sense to do it that way, redoing the first challenge might get boring if its repeated

They said it’s season 2, implying it’s the same idea or concept, just with different method of sales and the strategy of fast money. it hasn’t been advertised in a way that you’re saying, it’s being hyped up like it’s another $10 business, not for people that already established a business.

@@jfh.8064 the best way I can explain this for you to understand is to think of a TV series, season 1’s plot comes to an end, and if there’s another season, it’s usually taking place because of the first season’s plot, it’s not the exact same thing, season 1 and season 2 are different

Your channel has always been on the verge of a money grab. I’m a huge fan don’t get me twisted here. But, I can see the ulterior motives behind some of your business moves. The challenge was much better first time around as it was authentic and ultimately ended up being a failure. That’s what people want to see. Not the boring whatnot crap that only works for those with a huge online following

We are incredibly blessed to have the following that we have, and it has its benefits when it comes to building business relationships with sourcing and selling. That being said, we aren’t doing anything that everyone watching is foundationally unable to do. It may take an extended tenure of hard work and consistency, but our hope is to show that you CAN build a business at the speed of cash. No complex plan - just buy smart, sell fast, and hopefully we can have some fun and provide some entertainment along the way. If authenticity is what you’re after - Season two of this series will be great, because it’s our team, working together, leveraging our resources and tools to give the best insight we can into our operation! Instead of whatnot auctions, which is very unrealistic for beginner sellers. Everything that doesn’t sell in the first week should be put up on auction starting at a dollar on eBay. Clear it out that way.

There are tons of selling platforms that are available out there! eBay, Amazon, Mercari, WhatNot, and Marketplace just to name a few! We’d encourage you to find whichever one works BEST for you and get started! You can create your own version of a $10 business. We will be here to encourage ya and cheer ya on! For us, we wanted to try the “fastest” form of selling we could find, and WhatNot was the right fit for us! Sounds like eBay is that one for you! Excited to see you do it!

I think what people forget to realize is that this is an experiment. They tried eBay not they’re trying a new model. They’re taking the risk so you don’t have to. Stop complaining that it’s not what you want. If you want to keep selling on eBay, keep selling on eBay. But I encourage people to be open to new things - try whatnot. Buy first and then start selling if you haven’t already. Be open to doing social media and sharing your progress. You could be the inspiration for someone else that these guys were for all of us.

Here is my 2 cents take it or leave it lot of people are not going like it but I think it’s a great move is it the original plan no but it’s more realistic as someone who buys video games to fund my collection there a lot of low $games in there and I personally put them on fb or go to local shops and do a fast and quick dump yes I know it’s not the most money but it is fast cash I can use to put back into buying more lots same as them but they just do it on line can’t wait to see how it goes for you guys keep it up

it was better the first time, it was relatable to a beginner. now you are running it in a business way. nothing interesting to me as a beginner. you have a great business, not all of us are up there selling for or income. I guess my only question on the quick nickel vs the slow dime is if you can continuously source at this level where you get large collections of high quality stuff often. A lot of the recent stuff seems to be catching a lot of the cream of the crop out there. There will always be people out there with shifting interests and life situations where they might want to sell, but for video games that feels like there is a limit to what you can bring in compared to how much effort it takes to source. I would definitely be keeping track of metrics of offers sent vs offers actually sold vs how much profit on average the collections sell for. It's just good data to be comparing for the long term and see how it does over multiple years and you don't get caught off guard.
