My feedback for CSCS exam: the most difficult is to answer questions of something you've never seen neither in the book neither in course... 👏 👏 👏

little correction on nutritional part where you said 1.5-2.0g of protein per day weight lifters are strength athletes which mean they need approximately 1.4-1.7g or protein per day according to the book. and 1.0-1.6 for endurance athletes. and for weight gain you need 1.5-2.0g of protein and for fat loss you need 1.8-2.7g of protein per day only if an athlete is on reduced calories then he or she might need 1.8-2.7g or protein per day

I found the answer but this means there are two recommendations for similar athletes. On page 214 table 10.3, weightlifting is 1.5-2.0 grams of protein per kg body weight!

It was updated now 1.4-1.7 for both endurance and strength

for question one can you expand on block 1 vs block 3. Does that just mean Block 1 = offseason and Block 3 = preseason nearing in season?

How do you remember all the normative data for the exam? I struggle with the testing and evaluation section as I can't figure out how to memorize those.

You ever figure it out? Lol I'm a month out and struggling with this. Numbers make my head spin

@@KlassenExercise Understanding the ranges helped me. For example in question #1 if you look at Table 13.21 on page 311 of the textbook under pro agility only one group has above a 5 second time - Recreational athlete (women) (108). So if there is a question on your test with a 6 second + pro agility you know that could be improved. Another example is Table 13.1 page 295. 1RM bench for all athletes on the page range from 10% rank 69 lbs to 90% rank 124 lbs. So depending on the question, if bench press is below 69 lbs increasing their 1RM bench would be a good option unless there is another test value that needs improvement more than the bench press. Hope that helps and good luck.

try to memorize 60 percentile. so anything above that it's good and lower than that needs improvement.

Question 6 you said 1.5 to 2.0, but the book says for strength athletes requires 1.4-1.7, unless you just rounded up for ease of mathing?

Quick question, I have a bachelor of science in sports strength and conditioning, but it is a 3 year degree (in Ireland). I also have my ace pt certificate. Can I take the exam with these or does it have to be a four year exam
@sydneywallner1 Жыл бұрын
I believe that you just need a bachelors or in your case a bachelors equivalent to the US
