Man i like Dane so much one of my favorite epics in the game he carried me a lot . His dispelling is super useful honestly. He is always my mvp against rally teams because of the dispelling and stealing stuff

I tossed up whether to pick Voresh or Frurbath from the epic chest - I picked Voresh and was not disappointed 😊 I am aiming to get Frurbath next season, and Garius since I didn't have a decent tank apart from Horrus, also Tolnanan since she will work well with my Rephe and Errich. Keen to see which elements are aligned too. Now that I understand what I have to do, it will be good to actually finish the story. Also, a suggestion please. Keen to see how on earth to beat the crazy strong gnome chick in Teneebria... I have some epic artifacts, but not enough gear. I think Garius would smash her, but I don't have him 😢

I have played the entire season without those two tanks. I have been relying on Horrus and Ergander for that specific job. I did choose Voresh from the box, and my account has been blessed with Iola and Zar'loth. The enemy does not do anything with those two around. Adolphus has been amazing too. Add Sigrid and Usha, and those heroes have been in most teams.

Zharloth, Thia, Questa, Voresh and Eurion got me through all the content. Im F2P and am ranking at place 85 in my server right now. Such incredible heroes with almost OP skills

Nathaniel and Hegio are my absolute favorites. Nath lets me do 3 times more damage on vortex mantaining everyone alive. doesnt matter what everyone says he does replace a healer and is better than felosia.

Healing tanks are OP. They grant one slot for DPS. Unfortunately I don't have any of em.

Garius is better than Frurbath, it's just that Fire/Poison feels better than Lightning/Radiance for most content. I got both Zharloth and Iola so I was able to compare them both, so I can get why you think Iola is better but if you had Zharloth you would see he is much better than Iola. Adolphus eluded me and I would say because I did not have him it's why Frurbath and Isolde shinned more but they didn't work well for me.

With close positioning Frurbath heals more than Garius (2 skills with 10s cd and 300% defense heals each vs 1 ult with 600% defense with 20s cd, but Frurbath also has passive heals), on top of that he has attack penalty, while Garius only gets hit recovery. Garius is more for some bosses like harpy, but in contents where attack penalty is mandatory, Frurbath is much better since he saves one hero slot which otherwise would be wasted for an attack reducer. As a person who has Garius but lacks Frurbath, some contents are giving me hard time, and 1 mass heal per 20 seconds isn't doing much if all the team is wiped between its casts.

@@DesperadoFTW A fully Scrolled Garius and with some extra Skill Haste from Positive a Negative Runes can surely mae a difference and keep your party alive. Garius in Late game can even reach 60,000 HP heals which is enough to fully heal anyone in your party. Only tanks and bulky healears can have more than that. There are some strong DPS like Sigrid who can do ATK down II, so you aren't really wasting a slot.

The simple fact that Tonalnan is the only real dps on your list shows there is a problem in the game imo. Tanking, healing, buff/debuff, dispell/cleanse are so important that you need to be a freaking dps monster like Tonalnan so much better than the others to be on a top tier list... When you have support heros who do more dmg than "dps only" heros, there is a something wrong. When you have a tank who does more healing than a healing support while cleansing himself (and doing more dmg than a healer does, even if it's not a lot) there is something wrong. When you have a tank who can tank (😱), heal, cleanse and place the most important debuff of the game (and still doing a little dmg), there is something wrong. You put Frur as only healer in your vortex => you can put 4 wilds (or 3 wild & a 2nd break attack). I don't have Frur, to do the same job i need Horus+Heksandra+Sigrid which let me 2 spot for wild heros (or 1 wild & a 2nd break attack and then i don't even have wild synergie...).

Same issue I have no heal tank so I have to run Isolde, Vicuc Adolphus, then 2 DPS. Or some similar tank heal cleanse debuff combo. I'm not against healing tanks in general. Paladins have always been a thing but it should be supplemental healing not better than a pure Clerics.

I see your point. I find very few damage dealers doing 25% or more paired with the traveller, and both frur and garrius can do about 16%... 9% damage more isnt what id call a dps role. Its not that utility tanks are a bad thing, its that damage is seriously lacking in dps roles. Ive yet to find a champion in the game except the lizard chick that can out dps my starting character. 😅

@@bmark6971 All the real Damage comes from legendaries with legendary artifacts. Everything else pales in comparison. Even then it's really exclusive legendaries with exclusive artifacts.
