Stephen, I'm scheduled for an IDC but have been pushing the start date for fear of formulas. I passed the DM but for some reason the IDC has my head swimming in circles. Your ditty "If the object lies at the bottom of the sea, divide by one point zero three." was awesome!! I've worked additional numbers to solidify the ditty. Now I'm looking for more of your videos with hope of gaining confidence in my bearing for IDC and beyond.

I've just checked out your video on pressure changes at atmosphere and will look for any of your other products along this line. What location are you affiliated?

@@robertkendall1297 I appreciate your kind words, thank you! I have been running IDCs on Utila for the last 5.5yrs at Bay Islands College of Diving. Prior to that I was doing it on Grand Cayman. When the world becomes more accessible again I'd like to offer them in multiple locations again

This just really eased my mind, I am great at basic maths but this really simplified the calculation based on the question, thank you, be a Newcastle brown inbound when I pass my IE in 2 weeks

Quick question @AskAynsley - sorry if this is a stupid question, but does the same method work for Imperial units?

It doesn't unfortunately. Using the imperial system is different and has no real correlations like what the metric system does. Diving theory is a lot easier in metric because it's all very much based on like-for-like numbers.
