My bag preferences have definitely changed. I think age and lifestyle have a lot to do with the bags we gravitate towards. Since I retired, my speedy monogram 30 is my favorite for schlepping around. 😊

I also prefer the Diorama over the Boy bag. I tried on a Boy several years ago and it looked like a medium sized bag but held very little, certainly nowhere near my essentials. Last year I bought a Diorama from Fashionphile, it’s black lambskin with gold studs and it was love at first sight. I thought it wouldn’t hold any more than the Boy but would make a good evening bag. When I received it and started putting stuff in I was amazed at how much fitted in it. I kept thinking it won’t fit this, then it won’t fit that as well, but it just swallowed everything. It’s an amazing bag and I am so glad I bought it. It’s also very low key luxury. I do prefer the older Dior bags with tiny branding to the more recent ones where it’s totally in your face. I love your one. It’s such a beautiful colour. I may be tempted to buy another one day now that they are going for such good prices preloved.

Melinda, If you are not reaching for them at least you have a platform to sell them. I really feel less is more. I find myself looking for more & more bags or jewelry. Nice video..I wish I could sell some of my bags …it feels like so much trouble and the loss of money kills me. If I was practical I would let go of the mini Antigona and the Lady Dior..but they are so classic ..I still love how they look.

I loveLoveLOVE these types of videos, so Informative. I wish more KZbinRS would do videos like this. You CERTAINLY shared great information in this video as to whether or not any of these bags will work for another. I will say, one of the many things I've learned since developing an interest in luxury items is that what a person like today, they may not like later. What I've chosen to do is always keep a combo (mixture) of bags....at least one of each of the items I LOVE. Just In Case I change my mind.😁I can't afford to repurchase the same things over again with these price increases. Thanks for sharing the YSL College Bag again, for Olde Time Sake. 🥰🧡🍂

Melinda-I really need your advice on a zoomini insert for my LV Low key Hobo. I mistakenly ordered the 1 mm size and it is too floppy, will not stay upright and pockets flop. If I order do you the the 2mm will work, should I double? And should I get the base. I have not heard you mention this bag but know that you have experience with zoomoni for other hobo type bags. (This is my first hobo in years, other bags are quite structured or easily given structure with an insert such as the speedy). I had to look that bag up, that is one I haven't tried on. I would for sure go for the thicker felt and a base shaper. I have a base shaper for the Graceful as well from them but I don't use it often. Thank you, we had a great time!

Contradiction. No not all. Your needs change. At the moment I’m into smaller bags but maybe one day I will love bigger ones again. I can use them both but I don’t carry a lot currently. I am still looking into getting a new medium bag and I am loving the mama baguette ones that are in the next Fendi collection. The leather ones. Omg I love them. Let’s see when they are released.

Can’t believe you let the YSL College bag go. I have two YSL College bags in size large. I don’t carry them often but love the classy style of them when I do. I like that the large college bags are not crossbody which is why I didn’t go with medium size. We’re constantly evolving so who cares what others think. They’re our bags and our choices. Your necklace is beautiful!❤
