Those of us who use this road regularly agree the quality and workmanship is far far better than the Dongo Kundu road. I am using both roads frequently and I know what I am talking about. The Mombasa-Kilifi is well marked, road shoulders well demarcated, parking for PSVs well allocated and marked, I mean the contractor has impressed, I wish he was the one allocated the Dong Kundu lot!

The contract was given to Chinese, funded by the African development bank, EU and the govt of Kenya..the dual carriageway will start from Nyali bridge, (lights) All the way to Mtwapa. Some parts from Mtwapa to Malindi are dualised but splitters by markings

Kenya govt is taking Kenyans for fools instead of building a dual carriageway they are still build the same style of roads but different paintings that's y accidents will never cease

There's not much traffic along that stretch to warrant a dual carriageway all the way to Malindi from MSA. Ndio maana only the busiest sections will be dualled.

Some parts it's a dual carriageway but not divided ,some single but wide, lakini from Mtwapa it will be dualised all the way to Mombasa

Only Mombasa to Mtwapa will be dual carriage due to the high traffic there.
