I have a bit of an idea as to why other naturals reached that million before our girl Whit, the OG, the GOAT but I'm not going to go there. Still, I'm glad Whit is successful and almost at her million. She deserves so much more for teaching us all. I started watching her almost 9 years ago when I was a struggling college student, just discovering I had curly hair. I hope she starts selling her mango hair butter, flower hair crowns, or other diy products and accessories so she can really start making bank from this and getting more success. I want to see her, Filipe, Olivia, and Theo in a big house some day. *tear*

It annoys me that Whitney doesn’t have more subscribers. She’s not just a pretty face with a jar of edge control...she actually cares about the health of hair and shares her knowledge and techniques with others. She 100% more recognition. I’ve been natural my whole life but never knew how to take care of my hair until I came across her videos. Whitney I appreciate you and your content 💖 I want your channel to grow like wild fire, you’ve earned it with your hard work!

ND G that could be a possibility but I don’t have the same hair type as her but I’m a subscriber. Regardless of hair type she should have more subscribers because of her content, the home made hair products she makes, her technique, her style, everything. I just feel like after the amount of years she’s been doing this with her multiple different channels should should have a lot more recognition. I just love her 💖😫

Just tried this because my scalp was getting irritated for some reason this week. And I have to say I'm not ready to wash it out yet even though I planned to wash my hair today. Lol. Feels so good. My curls are defined but my scalp has calmed down so much I dont feel like I need to wash it today anymore. Wow. Love aloe vera. Thanks Whitney for sharing.
Thanks for this pre-poo receipt . my hair loves aloe vera so much . I usually blend my aloe vera jelly alone with nothing added until it gets frothy with bubbles . then strain it as you showed in the video . if you blend it a bit more then its less work to get that gel out of the strainer and it still remains like jelly texture with very little crunch’s remaining plus more aloe gel comes out . after i put the gel in a bottle . i add the 2 oils of my choice, shake well, and slather it in my hair . works wonders 😁

I just made the gel, I couldn’t understand why not make it a liquid as it is faster (I did it this way). Another benefit to the gel is it doesn’t run everywhere and stays at the scalp and in your hair and doesn’t drip everywhere. It also makes detangling easier as a gel.

Would I get the same results if I used store bought aloe vera gel? Lily of the Desert brand, for example?

Jewell Scott I was wondering the same thing instead of having to blend it, just put the store bought gel on your hair. I am past that point of making DIY products for my hair. My only exception being my leave in. The aloe Vera juice that she uses in the video also comes in gel form. I have used it before and it worked just as good!

I used the leaf the first few times and it was ah-mazing! I switched to the store bought gel most recently and loved it too. It doesn’t feel as slimy as the leaf (I personally like the slime) but my hair felt like butter just the same.

Jewell Scott When I run out of the leaf I use the store bought gel. Pretty much the same

I personally prefer rubbing the aloe leaf directly on my scalp. It just feels so close to nature. But to each their own.

I will definitely try this on me and my boyfriend, he's got such a dry scalp. That it tends to bleed, we are trying to find good stuff to put on his head to make that go away. Thank you so much for this video!
