I agree with you guys, very difficult to understand what someone is saying without hearing their tone. I read Von's words as him blaming himself. I never heard him blame the Bills, and as you guys note, Von was the only one pushing for Von to be out there. We know from team history, they keep players off the field until they are overly certain they are good to go. So I think the decision for Von to play was Von's and only Von's, and Von is blaming himself for making that call. I dunno, just how it read to me.

Very much appreciate the number of linemen you had. This transition year will be highly influenced by O line play, more than the last few IMHO. This is especially true with new offensive schemes. If Josh has time to see the new plays unfold this could be an awesome year with more options for him. If the line falters, going to be a tough season. I expect the O line to be excellent barring serious injury. That’s what’s giving me hope for this coming season

I will not stand for this s'mores slander. You gotta slow roast the marshmallow so the middle gets gooey (your choice on crisping the exterior) and then have the graham and chocolate ready to go. Place the warm marshmallow on top of the chocolate (which should already be on the bottom graham,) place the top graham on and gently pull the stick out of the marshmallow. Gently squeeze the marshmallow to the edges of the graham and wait a few seconds so the chocolate can soften. If you do it right - no gooey mess on your hands.

My hopes are to just spread the ball around. We got a lot of highly above average receivers / receiving backs now. There's no receivers that you got to or MUST get the ball to this year. I'd like to see that we avoid the predictable and target all our eligible receivers.

I’m sorry to comment unrelated stuff here, but it’s an important issue. I’m a Buffalo native and Air Force Pilot. My 11 year old son is currently being captive in Germany (sounds absurd, I know). Sometimes I feel bad for Dan. I don't know if he's just not saying it right, but you two definitely don't understand a lot of what he's saying. A lot of times I hear you guys arguing past each other, because you don't understand Dan's argument. And I'm not absolving Dan here. Like I said, maybe he's just not saying it well, and my mind is odd enough in a very similar fashion to Dan, that I get him when others don't. But I can definitely hear the frustration in his voice when you are arguing against him for points he's not making. To my knowledge, Dan has never been against the run game. All Dan has ever said is, if the running game isn't working, don't continue going to it. It's like the definition of insanity. Keep doing the same thing and expect different results. If your O-Line can't open a hole, and your backs are all averaging 1 yard per carry, then every run after that is a wasted down. Meaning you essentially giving Josh only 1 or 2 chances of getting a first down. Dan agrees with both of you that a good run game is great for the team to have and use. He's just saying, IF you can't run, don't force it. There are other ways of bringing the safties down, like short passes, etc.
