As far as the haunted tours, don't do the trolley ones. THe best ones are the walking ones, and if you are lucky enough to get on a bar hop one, its full of haunted history, bar stops and good drinks and fun :)

We stayed at East Bay Inn and it’s one street away from River Street, a trolley stop around the corner, a short walk to City Market and Lucas St. Theater. We were happy!
