To get up to "the ranch" as Hearst called it, you take a tram. You pass zebra and other exotics grazing in the hillside. You walk in and there is a 2-3,000 year old Egyptian mosaic on the floor. There are three guest houses that the sons could still use even though it was CA property. Their faucets were made of solid gold. It's really a different world.
