Marios Ferrari doesn't look like it was damaged by sand...Definitely leaves one wondering. Great historical re-cap of a memorable Sebring.

I finally got to LeMans in 2000, but never made to Sebring, Now it feels like I have actually been there back when it was a good growing race. Thank You, Dennis my favorite segment was interviewing Ken Miles. He was so valuable to setting the cars up.

It's a shame you didn't mention the Alfa TZ2's in the thumbnail - and the image when you were talking about the Dino 206

I think Briggs Cunningham was also the inventor of the aptly named device called the, wait for it - 'Cunningham' that was an eyelet near bottom of the leading edge of the mainsail that a hook was fastened that tension could be applied to which had the effect of flattening the sail to spill air to depower when sailing close to the wind.

I very much enjoyed the video. Liked and subscribed. One small nit. At 14:25 you refer to Miles co-driver as Jack Ruby. I believe it should be Lloyd Ruby, not Oswald's assassin. Thanks for your work and keep it up!

Yeah, missed that one. All through scripting I knew I was going to make the mistake in recording, tried drsparately not to, listened to the recording twice before publishing (admittedly with a glass of scotch in hand), still managed to miss it. I wish there was a way to re-upload a video to correct for those sort of small things without having it reset everything.

In 1966 I was standing at the fence and witnessed the Porsche hit a big fuel tank on the side of the warehouse. We also saw what caused the car to spin.

The Beast? It's an early attempt at aerodynamic streamlining applied to a Cadillac body by the genius of Briggs Cunningham - the French called it Le Monstre because of its size. That photo is one I took at Le Mans Classic, it's actually replica built by one Mr. Derek Drinkwater
